Well, Bayern Munich is not fighting for points anymore but only fighting to protect their records and not loosing any more games. After the champions League game, it is normal for any team to slack back on performance, it may not really be due to trauma, it may just be due to realising that there's no need to pick an injury when they already have the title. Bayern Munich is still a great team if not they would have recorded more losses.

Bayern Munich have still continued to win after even announcing their league title. Even with a rotated lineup they are able to keep winning. The gap with others is just that big...

Wolfsburg actually played really great in this game. We are talking about a 3.04 xG for them! But still no goal scored by them. Now they are under a bigger threat of relegating directly while we are on the final week of the season.

Hamburg managed to secure a win at home against Freiburg. I don’t think Freiburg lived up to expectations in this match. Hamburg played with great determination from the start and certainly deserved to win. Whilst they had already secured their place in the league last week, winning such matches at home must be a source of joy for the fans. Igor Matanovic scored for Freiburg, whilst Jatta, Vuskovic and Uri Balde found the net for Hamburg.

Heidenheim managed to beat FC Koln and secured a crucial three points ahead of the final week of the season. They will be aiming to finish the season in 16th place, at the very least, to avoid the relegation play-offs. As Wolfsburg and Pauli are set to face each other, this presents an opportunity for Heidenheim.

I am also surprised too because I don't considered Wolfsburg to be a difficult opponent for them but that is how it is sometimes, currently Bayern Munich don't have to stress themselves because they already gotten what they want. The Champions League elimination is a very surprising one since the hosted second leg, almost everybody thought that they will do great in that match since they did very well in first leg but it went a different direction and even that alone can also affect their performance in this match.

The only remaining match that matters to Munich is the DFB Pokal final, other than that, it's not that important to them. so it's no surprise that they looked like they were just practicing against Wolfsburg, since there's nothing else to chase, they already have the Bundesliga trophy, so it's just a normal game for them... so right now, their focus is probably only on the DFB Pokal final, because it's the last trophy they can win this season, since they already failed in the Champions League.

Union Berlin seem to have secured their first win under their new manager against Mainz. They went into the break ahead and scored two more goals towards the end of the second half to win the match 3–1. I think this victory shows that Union Berlin are making progress.

The bottom line in Bundesliga is quite interesting. All last three teams have the same number of points with 3 points of difference between Wolfsburg and the other two teams. Funny enough that Wolfsburg will face St. Pauli which will play home. It is obvious the loser will directly relegate here. Wolfsburg attack line is not that bad but their defence line is chaotic while St. Pauli defence is better but their attack line is the poorest in the league. Bookies slightly think that the team playing home will win but I think Wolfsburg will not let them survive.

Looking at St. Pauli’s history, it is not surprising if they get relegated again this season. Since being promoted to the Bundesliga, the team has not shown much improvement, and last season they were also very close to relegation.

If we look at the odds offered by the bookmakers, St. Pauli is at @2.65 while Wolfsburg is at @2.60, so the difference is not that big. In my opinion, if Wolfsburg can score an early goal and then maintain the lead by focusing more on defense, I believe Wolfsburg has a good chance to win this match.

Hamburger played outstandingly here, although the dominance of possession was slightly owned by Freiburg, they played more effectively, their attacks were well organized, 16 shots with 6 on target is not something easy to get when the opponent has a different level than them, this season sees Hamburger return to the Bundesliga top flight after years of struggling in the second division. Although the current achievement is only being able to stay in the Bundesliga, it is already a good start for them.
