A pretty unusual situation at this stage of the season. After Heidenheim defeated FC Koln 3-1 yesterday, all 3 bottom teams now have 26 points each:



With only one game to go in the season, things will get very heated, especially the direct clash between St Pauli and Wolfsburg. Heidenheim will play Mainz at home.
There will be no room for calculations. All 3 need to fight for the win.
All games of the last round will be played on the same day and at the same time.
The 16th place doesn't mean safety from relegation. A club from 16th place will play a 2 leg play-off against a 3rd team from the 2nd Bundesliga.

Union Berlin seem to have secured their first win under their new manager against Mainz. They went into the break ahead and scored two more goals towards the end of the second half to win the match 3–1. I think this victory shows that Union Berlin are making progress.

They are making good progress but it would have been better if it was at the beginning of the season, may be it would have helped them achieve more and finish at an even better position than they are now on the table. But then they can try to maintain it and make sure to use it in the coming season, that way they will do better next season.

Wow, Heidenheim's away win isn't just unexpected, it also makes the situation in the relegation zone extremely brutal: three clubs have 26 points each It's funny that Wolfsburg, having lost to Bayern by a minimal score (another surprise of the round), maintained a better goal difference than their competitors and, based on this, occupies 16th place. But still, before the final round, nothing is guaranteed and the situation can change; it’s a pity that the title is not being decided in such a tense fight.

That was definitely not expected. Just one more game left in the entire season, and who is going to drop and who is going to survive will depend on that single game, let's see how these teams will do on the last week. Saint Pauli will be playing against Wolfsburg, who is 16th and not that great neither and will decide the one who will stay probably. Heidenhem will play against mainz who is 10th and doing mediocre. And that means if Heidenhem loses, and other two teams are tie, or win, wolfsburg will go out, only way pauli stays would be to get a win, and even that may or may not be enough.

Exactly, right now the most important thing for Union is to forget about the past and look to the future, specifically next season.
This victory is crucial for the team's confidence and could lay the foundation for next season.
It will be interesting to see who the new coach will be. Perhaps after this victory, the club's board will consider keeping Marie-Louise Eta on the men's team.

It's quite interesting because Wolfsburg's last match will be against St. Pauli and Heidenheim will face Mainz which of course the last match could be a decider for these 3 clubs.
St. Pauli still have a chance to get out of their last position but Wolfsburg also obviously don't want to get them thrown into league 2 for next season because after all they have to defend after several seasons of defending.
Btw for the position of the promotion club next season is also quite interesting actually because besides Schalke there are 3 other clubs competing for 2nd place in the standings.

Mmm With what I have seen these three teams play this season. I would say that they have been so underperforming, so I have no favorite among the Three. I think that two teams will go down automatically and the sixteen placed team will go for a playoff. I just wish these teams good luck because there performance was nothing to write home about. It's just way below average for me but come to see what a coincidence, because all the Three teams have the same number of wins, draws, winning and Even points.

They haven't even faced a serious rival. This year they won the championship very comfortably. That's why they're breaking records one by one. I was expecting Bayern Munich to be successful in the Champions League, but they couldn't achieve that.

Last season Bayer Leverkuson try has luck one more time but they can't reach the level of Bayern Munich.  In the 2023/24 season Bayer Leverkuson won the Bundesliga but after the Xabi Alonso withdrawn will effect him alot and they just finished 2nd in the next season but this season they are very poor and now they are in a 6th spot don't know they can qualify Ucl next season are not But there is no big competition for Bayern munich in the Bundesliga.  Dortmund are good but they can't be competitive for Bayern.  And I didn't see any team can tackle Bayern Munich in the upcoming season as well.

Simpson already predicted Bayern Munich can be the winner of Ucl Next season .HUH  So don't lose Hope Bayern can bring 7th Ucl to the Allianz arena for sure . Trust on Kompany they made a really good squad and this season was bad knocked from psg but next season will be more interesting than the last season.  Already they break many records this season and have won 2 title and DFP pokal are on the way so overall 3 trophy in season was not that bad.

In the 38th minute Ilic scored the first goal for Union Berlin but they didn't hold on that lead for long enough just after 10 minutes Becker scored an equalizer in the 48th minute. But the game turned around in the 88th minute when Burke scored the second goal for Union Berlin and Juranovic scored the 3rd in the added time 90+1' . Overall Mainz slightly dominated the game 53% possession 1.61 xG but didn't get any points from Berlin. Now Union Berlin is going to face Augsburg in their last game of the season

Xabi Alonso shouldn't had left, I don't know why he hurriedly resigned to chase a bigger job which didn't end up well, he would've stayed back to continue building the team, maybe if he had they would've continued to be more threatening to Bayern Munich and make the competition tougher like in the 2023/24 season.

 The mistake Leverkusen made was bringing back Ten Hag after he got sacked by Manchester United, right from the first day he started managing Leverkusen again you could tell that he's already lost his confidence as a manager and needed to rest after being sacked. Concerning the UCL, it's very realistic cause I know they'll restrategise in recruiting more better players to make the team stronger and  prepared for it, i strongly believe in Kompany and I'm sure he'll recruit the right players that would help the team do better.

Xabi Alonso was real madrid legend and they pay them alot of money and the situation was that's time Ancheloti left real madrid and only Xabi Alonso was a Good option for real madrid but they didn't respect has job and sack him in the mid season which was a pure disaster.  It's was not Xabi Alonso mistake Real madrid squad ego and every play say I am a superstar.  So that was the reason Xabi Alonso left Bayer Leverkuson and signed for real madrid

Xabi Alonso made a heavy mistake to leave Bayer Leverkuson in hurry way they need one or two more year to stay in has position then go go out and try has luck in big club. But they leave Bayer Leverkuson in a very bad position and they couldn’t recovered from that's disaster and not even compatible for the next season they change manger after manager but couldn’t help them to reach the level Xabi Alonso level. But let's hope Bayer Leverkuson can recover fast and reached that 2023 peak season level .

What I didn't expect from Union berlin was the way they played, under the leadership of their new coach their attack is much more organized, Marie-Louise Eta did a pretty good job as the first female coach in the Bundesliga.
With their win today hopefully the Union management will consider Eta to be a permanent coach, because as far as I know she is still an interim coach.

Hamburg managed to secure a win at home against Freiburg. I don’t think Freiburg lived up to expectations in this match. Hamburg played with great determination from the start and certainly deserved to win. Whilst they had already secured their place in the league last week, winning such matches at home must be a source of joy for the fans. Igor Matanovic scored for Freiburg, whilst Jatta, Vuskovic and Uri Balde found the net for Hamburg.

Hamburger played outstandingly here, although the dominance of possession was slightly owned by Freiburg, they played more effectively, their attacks were well organized, 16 shots with 6 on target is not something easy to get when the opponent has a different level than them, this season sees Hamburger return to the Bundesliga top flight after years of struggling in the second division. Although the current achievement is only being able to stay in the Bundesliga, it is already a good start for them.

To be fair nobody expected Hamburg to get a win here, that was definitely unexpected to many people, considering Freiburg has done great this season the attention was on them and people thought they would do better and win the game.

This is why Bundesliga is "weak" to many, because aside from Bayern (and sometimes Dortmund) all other teams just win and lose against each other, there are not third good team that is bigger than other teams, they just have one big club, one club that is consistent, and all others are just doing whatever.

It is indeed a little late for Union Berlin to improve its current position even though it has made progress because there is only 1 match left, yes at least next season Union Berlin must have better performance with their new coach and reach a decent position at least this season Union Berlin can still survive in the Bundesliga even though their performance tends to be bad but not worse than the bottom 2 teams currently at least Union Berlin is still in the middle position.

We are at the end of the Bundesliga season, discussing the top table is no longer interesting since Bayern Munich managed to win the league title early, what interests me about this league now is the bottom table, you can see there are Wolfsburg & St. Pauli. With the same points & set to meet in the final match, the winner will be guaranteed safety from relegation & will still play in the Bundesliga next season. I personally think Wolfsburg will win this match, as they are the stronger team.
