I thought it was just me that was wondering what plan Bayer Leverkusen actually had in hand for them to have jump at the option of selling out their best players, and without replacing them with equal quality of players or even ones above standard but we're expecting some kind of magic from a new coach that would be brought in to replace Xabi Alonso. It was unfortunate that Erik Ten Hag had to find himself there at that moment and it made it all appeared as though he was really that worse of a coach especially after leaving Manchester United with a poor performance.
Lets hope they make amends with next window transfer for the next season to improve the team depth as it should be to be able to stand competitive against Bayern Munich.

Not only did Leverkusen sell some key players last season, but Dortmund often did the same thing long before that, making it quite difficult for some Bundesliga teams to match the power of Bayern Munich. If some Bundesliga clubs don't change this pattern, it will be difficult for any team to break Bayern Munich's dominance. Even if they managed to do it like Leverkusen, it would be nothing more than luck and perhaps Bayern Munich would have suffered a slight setback in the same season.

Selling some potential players can be financially beneficial for a club, but don't expect the team to win any trophies. Similar to Dortmund in recent seasons, even though they managed to keep pace with Bayern Munich, they ultimately failed to win the title and Bayern Munich ultimately emerged victorious.

This has really been the fate of Dortmund over the years... They have had amazing talents in the last 10-15 years. I can't even imagine how powerful they could be if they managed to keep most of them.

Probably they would have many more Bundesliga championships. But now instead they are just overshadowed by Bayern Munich's might.    I don't expect this to change in the near future either.

I don't think Eintracht is very interested in a ticket to the Conference League  But they are undoubtedly a much more dangerous opponent than Mönchengladbach, just compare their attack: 59 goals scored for Eintracht, and only 38 for Mönchengladbach (against a comparable number of goals conceded). Therefore, most likely, Hoffenheim is the favorite in the fight for the top 4, but Stuttgart is in a better position since the result depends only on their efforts and if they win, they will be in the top 4.

these teams are fighting to the death to take a place there in Europe because going to those competitions means playing games and more games equals more money, this is what is happening, but also in my opinion Hoffenheim is favored to stay there and compete among those teams/

It's a very natural situation, on the other hand they need money to continue the next season on the other hand also players certainly also want to move to a bigger team or even to a much bigger league for their career journey, the circulation of these players is very natural in my opinion.

St. Pauli vs. Wolfsburg could well turn out to be one of the most thrilling matches of the season tomorrow, as it’s a do-or-die game! Wolfsburg have been in the German Bundesliga for almost 30 years now and will do everything in their power to win.

However, should Wolfsburg end up being relegated, it would be a disaster for the entire club.

Contrary to what he did with Manchester United, Bayer Leverkusen wasn’t that bad under his management. The premier league isn’t an easy league, but as much as the Bundesliga. At least the Bundesliga, under Ten Hag’s management, Leverkusen managed to win some defining games and were able to qualify for the Europa. There last fixture against Stuttgart was a tight one and with Stuttgart playing from home, it was always going to take a great deal of luck for Bayer Leverkusen to win. They didn’t and have to settle in for the Europa rather than a champions league dream.

Erik Ten Hag is not good like before anymore and that is why Manchester United sack him and bring new coach to the team. But he try is best and win something for Manchester United before he leave the club. Many coach as be sack since xabi Alonso leave the club to move the Real Madrid they have not get a good coach like him yet and Erik Ten Hag come to the club to manage the team thinking he cam handle the club but I see that even the smaller club In the Bundesliga is struggling to achieve three point With them, and they make a good decision then making him go and bring new one.

Leverkusen is struggling they don't have good players anymore and the new manager need to do everything possible to make a good sighing next season so that they can compete with bayern Munich the way xabi Alonso challenge them last two seasons and won the title.

Some times we should not blame these clubs when they sell off their best players that is their only means of survival or staying afloat financially, unlike several other clubs like Chelsea, Manchester city, PSG, Inter Milan, Bayern Munich , Manchester United, Real Madrid etc, who have billionaires investors who solely carry the club's financial obligations by themselves

Or sometimes partner with other firms to ensure that the club participates in the transfer market adequately to lure the best players and coaches, for teams like Leverkusen it is a different story, they have to sell their best players to be able to meet most financial obligations else they would not be able to run the club effectively

And that is why you see these club struggling to keep up with the competition as a result of absence of competent players within the squad who could have helped the team fight for trophies but had to be sold out to take in funds to help the club meet up it's financial responsibilities.

In the case of Florian wirtz been trigger for such amount for the English side where he's hasn't done half of the expectations why he was brought here. He needs to be 10x better next season because he knows the intensity of the league he currently feature in, they need swift results.

This is where one wonders, was it worth it for Lucho to leave? Wirtz is good, but let's face it, Liverpool had a great connection with their players. Now in the Bundesliga everything is different because Bayern has immense power. Maybe he felt robbed in the Champions League, but that's what's happening a lot in football. But in the Bundesliga they are the undisputed kings, they totally dominate.

Finance is needed to maintain and sustain a team well, so that is a very valid point and reason some teams does sell off their very good players in the team , but if a team actually does have those good players, they can literally win titles with the help of these players and also make money.

I might even consider the possibility of a red card with a small bet.
