The problem is that even though Bayern Munich have a really strong squad full of top quality players, Kompany still hasn't found the right tactical balance. Just look at how Bayern can score a lot of goals, yet there's often a gap between the attack and the defense that makes it easier for opponents to hit them on the counter.

So, Kompany's job isn't actually that difficult right now. He just needs to keep the squad together and fine tune the tactics so the team becomes more balanced and can seriously compete for the UCL title.

Bayern Munich have been undefeatable for more than a two seasons and that's because they have a strong squad just like you said, this squad comprises of  good attackers but their defense is Shakey, it is a surprise to me that no team in the German league has been able to take advantage of this weakness. Bayern are good in goal scoring and also concede a lot.

We can't find a team that can compete with Bayern Munich for the league title, as evidenced by the fact that at the end of the 2025/26 season, Bayern's point difference with the second-placed team is 16. Notice that Borussia Dortmund is in second place, this team has made some progress last season but we are certainly shocked by their points difference.So it is safe to say that even though Bayern Munich's defense is a bit shaky, they are the best team in the German league and have the best squad, based on which they became champions last season and I think they will be able to keep their title glory intact in the upcoming new Germany League season as well.

The only team that would have been able to challenge Bayern Munich for the league title is Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen but when they had the opportunity they decided to sell off their good players instead of using them to defeat Bayern Munich then raise more good players before allowing them to go. Right now we should expect Bayern Munich to keep dominating the league other teams cdn only try but it will take them so many years to have the level of squad depth as Bayern Munich.

Selling off their key players was a wrong move and like you said, Bayern Munich might keep on dominating the league as a result of this. But you must remember that football can be unpredictable sometimes, you would be surprised to see another team dominating Next season, although this has a low chance of happening.

Now they have Davies on the left and Stanisic on the right. Brown would actually have to replace Davies, but I think when Davies is in his best form possible, I really like how he plays. His pace is amazing, but I think he was suffering from a number of injuries in recent years.

Bayern can do better than semi finals, or even maybe win the whole thing, it depends on how they improve the squad this summer. It also a bit about "that day", like as in the day they lose, because on another day if they played against PSG they could have won, if they played 10 times, I can see PSG winning six of them, but Bayern could have won too. That means on a very good day Bayern can beat anyone, literally any team in the world, they just have to have a good day.

Combine good additions and good days and Bayern could win the whole thing and it's a possibility. Of course not going to be easy at all, we are going to see things change, but it can happen and won't be something that crazy to see in the end.

I can attest fact that Bayern Munich has experienced some tremendous improvement under Vincent Kompany, funny enough nobody expected the coach to adequately handle this job with much professionalism and diligence but so far he has done well.
I believe the fans and the management are quite satisfied with his work and may remain patient and continue to support Vincent Kompany as he continues to work towards achieving his goals for the club.

Whenever he runs short of options Bayern suffers mostly in the backline, where he's focusing on right now, his attack is solid, but the team fails to hold against brutal attacking response towards their backline, the back space lacks a lot of support, the mid fielders go up excessively to support attack, thereby leaving behind an Isolated central back to fight the whole weight of counter attacking forwards, when Bayern losses ball control, there Davies suffers so much stress and workload to resist the attack. Kompany could see this in his last encounter with PSG, where Davies was totally off, and committed a handball in the box, he'd with the institution of Brown balance the central back to face such threats or pressure.

They have an incredible squad. Especially the attacking trio of Kane - Olise - Diaz... They have the best trio in the world in that area I think. If they make some improvement on their defending then they can go for the title in the Champions League.

It seems we are both opposite here because despite Vincent Kompany's performance at Burnley, I was not expecting him to be able to give that stellar performance at Bayern Munic. I know that Bayern is a very big team that almost anyone could get some decent results as a coach but Kompany raised the bar, gathered some of the finest players around and delivered such an outstanding result. I believe that he will be able to repeat same over again and this year, he will aim for the Champions League which Bayern Munic is due for.

Actually I see it that Borussia Dortmund does have that potential to really challenge Bayern Munich but they have not explored that strength of theirs enough to use it. They really do have what it will take to get them possibly winning  the title,  but because they are already making as much money as they would if they win the title,  it seem to have slowed their interest in pursuing the title.

Hitting the semi finals on his second champions league campaign adds more hope to his progressive changes at Bayern Munich. The real thing is that he's concerned about winning the champions league for his team, and knows the right players to sign into the club. The club's midfield improved nicely when he got Olise, and Diaz into the club, these two attackers, were able to drive out real Madrid in the quarter finals and made their way clear into the semi finals position, but unfortunately met the champions, PSG, there. This season he's finalizing deals to strengthen his back line, with the Frankfurt defender Nathaniel Brown, Bayern plays good attacking football, but will need to balance their back line to minimizing the number of goals they concede in tough games.

I agree that semi finals on his second year is great. But at Bayern levels, you get fans that are "if we are going to lose here, why did we come all this way?" types. Which means that there are no off days there, you can't just lose and be happy, you either win or you failed.

So the expectations for Bayern this year is even higher, I think they are expected to do even more and that should not be all that complicated because lets face it, we are going to see things change and they will probably do better.

I normally say that both Bayer Leverkusen and borussia Dortmund are only here for business because they have done it severally by selling their key player to Bayern Munich which, I Began to think that maybe they don't want the trophy, but they just want to be building player and be selling for Bayern Munich to dominate. Most of Bayern Munich player comes from borussia Dortmund especially their strikers, and this alone can make Bayern Munich dominate the league again and again.

A lot of people including me expect that bayer Leverkusen will do what Borussia Dortmund cannot do, but since then I mean after having their best season they could not be able to rise again, and I don't see them recovering from that stage now because they have declined not completely but to my expectation.

Certainly there's no match for Bayern Munich in that league, that's why no matter how fast those other teams might try to run, one thing is certain, the very moment Bayern Munich will wake up from sleep, it always looks like a command to the other teams, like the speed they will take to overtake those teams will surprise everyone, so as long as the Germain Bundesliga is concerned Bayern Munich still remains the undisputed champion for that, and I don't still see that changing in anytime soon, like they own the league and there's nothing anyone of them can do about it.

Kompany had learned his coaching style and influences from Pep Guardiola. His tactical approach is purely found in his time playing under Pep Guardiola when he was in Manchester City and ever since he retired to start coaching in fact right from when he started his journey as a player manager at Anderlecht in 2019, he had started demonstrating such trait of tactical ideas. He then went on to Burnley and ensured he guided them to the championship title in his debut season before finally being appointed as the head coach of Bayern Munich in the summer of 2024 where he utilizes a 4 - 2 - 3 - 1 formation priorizing comfortable ball possession from the defensive line. Such thing is a tactical idea which has worked well for him and I feel like such ideas are coming from what he has seen Guardiola do over the years. Again, we must celebrate Guardiola because while others were busy building players, he has also tried within his own means to build a league of managers

Have you heard of Barcelona's interest in Harry Kane? Maybe they have thought about it like a Plan B for themselves. In case they don't manage to sign Julian Alvarez...

However Kane doesn't look like he intends to leave yet. Thanks to signing for Bayern Munich he has finally started lifting trophies. They are on the rise with Kompany as well so Barcelona had better look for their other options.
