I do not agree with the idea that Kompany had little experience cause playing under one of the most renowned coaches in modern football history is enough experience,

and he was not any kind of player but the team's captain so he would have very likely had the privilege of discussing certain strategies with the coach then which for me is a lot  experience and that was why he was able to pull Burnley out of relegation and also lead Bayern Munich competently.

Maybe because 9 of 10 season were super smoothly for them and become champions of each Bundesliga in the past? I think right now the Bayer Munich dominance is not only a fact of football it started to be one from the statistic side, if no team can build a decent one to face them the Bundesliga is gonna be for them again, and right now i dont see anyone building a better team than them, we can only pray for a miracle like it was the Xabi Alonso Leverkusen from a few seasons back.

Vincent Kompany actually surprise me with his performance in that Bayern Munich team like it was really unexpected, at first Manny people believe he couldn't deliver the job but so far so good he's been doing incredibly well in that team and I recommend him for that, despite the fact Bayern Munich has got some very good players it's not all coaches that can do the kind of work he's done in that team, I'm just wishing he wins the UEFA Champions League title to balance the equation, because I really appreciate what he has done already.

Kompany is a coach and a golden person, capable of involving all the players of Bayern Munich and bringing out new talents like Olise, who is truly a pretty good champion, and who, with his national team, the French one, is proving to be one of the top players in the world.

Vincent Kompany was someone who I expected to fail, been two years and he is going super strong. So it is clear that I failed with my estimates and guess.

Last year was okay, because winning Bundesliga with Bayern is nothing, that's expected and he did that, I mean even someone here could probably do that, so it wasn't really a big deal. But this year they won it with most goals in a season ever while going to semi finals of UCL so we can assume that he is getting even better every year.

It's just that he met a very strong team with an experience coach that has been long in the game than him that was why he couldn't make it to the finals. Assuming, it wasn't PSG that he jammed in the semifinals, Kompany would have win the game. Let's hope he can do better next season.

There hasn't been a coach now who had a history of being Pep Guardiola assistant that's not regarded one of the best thing the club they're coaching has gotten, we can't even see any difference between Pep Guardiola and Luis Enrique in there career of coaching because all there recent club has won champions League. For Dortmund, selling players has been a priority for years. If they focused on success and competed for the Bundesliga championship, they wouldn't have let go of their quality players for so long. Many world-class players have played for Borussia Dortmund at some point in their careers. If Dortmund had kept these players, I believe they would have won at least five championships by now.

This does mean you need luck in every game, but when you take the whole journey from group stage / today league stage all the way to the final and win there, you definitely did have some luck at some point. Guardiola didn't have that luck, but it doesn't mean Bayern didn't play great football in the Champions League, because I remember they did.

Losing to Real, Atletico or Barcelona is not the end of the world. And by the way Atletico was very strong back at the time, it was a couple of times they were so close to beat or eliminate Barcelona or Real Madrid from knockout competitions (Copa or Champions League).

The quick change from rough move to back to back home league victories and near international success in tournaments is amazing feat for a team. Those who focused entirely on previous demotion battles completely undervalued potential of manager game plan to thrive and grow when given world class depth in the squad as opposed to saving money. Although final goal is the top famous European trophy, defeat in hands of big opponents should not have negative effect on development. But, with game intensity and player confidence brought back, foundations are strong to make team even more of a challenge in the coming season.
