I have never been in doubt about Vincent Kompany's competence seeing how well he has managed this Bayern Munich side for the last couple of seasons since he got there, he has done quite well for this team and is still in the process of shaping this team to becoming frontline contenders in Europe and probably win the UCL, they came very close last season and there are chances that they might get it right this season.

Those who doubted Vincent Kompany upon his arrival as the coach of Bayern Munich did that because he last managed a small team in the championship before they sealed his deal but in his first season he helped Bayern Munich to win the league same thing happened last season they defended their title. Vincent Kompany has proven himself by restoring the performance of the players back to normal but at ths point he should take them to lift an European trophy because they have all the quality players needed to do so and winning the champions League will be another history for him since some people are still underrating him.

Vincent Kompany is one coach that as far as his recent antecedents in Bayern Munich as a manager is concerned I would continue to hold him high not just in the bundesliga but also in Europe competitions because I see him as a potential UCL title winner as long as he is still with Bayern Munich.  Underrating him for now winning the UCL yet is unfair if we're rating high managers like Mikel Arteta for winning EPL, a domestic title.

For Dortmund, selling players has been a priority for years. If they focused on success and competed for the Bundesliga championship, they wouldn't have let go of their quality players for so long. Many world-class players have played for Borussia Dortmund at some point in their careers. If Dortmund had kept these players, I believe they would have won at least five championships by now.

They keep their finances strong thanks to player sales with really good profits. However I wouldn't like to see it like Dortmund are completely okay with being behind Bayern Munich all the time.

They are actually trying to keep their best players in the team. But convincing them is so difficult when they get offers from much bigger teams.

I'd have to admit that the German defender impressed many and it's not a surprise that Bayern Munich snagged him quickly before any other clubs could pick interest. He put up a wonderful performance and it's disappointing that such a fine talent got to leave the tournament early.

I honestly didn't believe that he would follow such a path, i believed that he was put there in that role as a coach to manage and make the team play as if it were self-managed, but instead he was able to transform this team into a winning team, which also had many chances of reaching the champion league final.

Bayern Munich isn't a weak team, and Vincent Kompany has proven himself to be a formidable manager as well, just because he won the Bundesliga with Bayern doesn't mean that he is great, of course not, many can do that. Bayern Munich is a great and strong team and yes they make this impression and than made this impression even more strong. And i think if they continously and consecutively winning the Bundesliga it is not a little thing or not like that which is not bothered to anyone. If this is not a great achievement than I think there were no teams who can give tough time to the Bayern Munich and win the league for even a single time. So this is also the fact that now the coach and the team has one more goal to proven themselves as the best and strong and yes everyone has settle the scale to declared them the strongest team if they manage to win in the champions league.  This is really a target for Bayern Munich to win not only because this is their desired position but also to prove others that they are strong and passabout there goals anywhere

The first reason people doubted him is exactly what you mentioned. Another reason was that managing a club full of world class players is never an easy job. But the people who doubted Kompany overlooked one important thing, Bayern is one of the strongest clubs in the bundesliga. As long as the squad is full of quality players, the coach has a great chance of achieving success, provided he can refresh the dressing room and build strong chemistry within the team. That's why, in the end, he was able to guide Bayern to the bundesliga title without too much trouble.

However, if Kompany is unable to lead Bayern Munich to a major trophy like the Champions League, I don't think he can be considered a great coach for Bayern.

I didn't even know that Eintracht Frankfurt had such a talented youngster before the commencement of the FIFA World Cup. Just like you said, it's sad to know that he'll not continue with his impressive performance in the tournament anymore after Germany were knocked out of the competition.
Since he's now being signed by an European giant like Bayern Munich, I think he has a very good chance of selling himself even better next season in the German Bundesliga more importantly the UEFA Champions League competition

Yes but I think this not a proof for Guardiola being a failure, but for the luck that any team needs to win the Champions League. You can't win it without a little bit of luck. This does mean you need luck in every game, but when you take the whole journey from group stage / today league stage all the way to the final and win there, you definitely did have some luck at some point. Guardiola didn't have that luck, but it doesn't mean Bayern didn't play great football in the Champions League, because I remember they did.

Losing to Real, Atletico or Barcelona is not the end of the world. And by the way Atletico was very strong back at the time, it was a couple of times they were so close to beat or eliminate Barcelona or Real Madrid from knockout competitions (Copa or Champions League).

But to repeat that, Kompany isn't doing bad, he is doing very well and much better than I thought. Is player material helping him? Of course, but those who argue that this is all Kompany is about, well, then take away the five best players from PSG and see how Enrique will do. It makes no sense to argue that way because coaches will have the best players in the world at their disposal when the coach one of the best clubs in the world.

The Bundesliga opposition this year was not exactly Klopp's Dortmund at their peak. All fine clubs, all punching at half the budget, Stuttgart, Leipzig, Leverkusen. Yes, I agree that Bayern Munich will always be the favorites in the league, but teams aren't done with their transfer window business yet, so we really still don't know how things will play out. As for predictions, I’m going with Bayern Munchen 3 – 0 Vfb Stuttgart, I’m confident they’ll open the league campaign with a clean sheet.

Kompany does not look like he is having any form of challenge getting  the German title even again,  where his biggest challenge  may be found  will be with the champions league,  he seem to have gotten his way with the German title  already,  such that even if he looses it chasing the champions league,  it will be considered justifiable,  for a very long stretch of years they have continued to win the Bundesliga title,  so it may likely not turn out a big deal if they loose it chasing the champions league which they have not had in a very long time.

Kompany is the coach of the season in the league. He has made everyone proud of his performance and shown the entire league they are dominating and no any other team comes closer but till today they still have one problem Kompany has not been able to pull the stunt of win the champions league but do not know how to go about it and I feel like it is his only nightmare. Can they try to win the champions league, I will say why not since they have worked hard to earn such reputation but it is not a piece of cake

since Kompany joined Bayern Munich, i have observed that he is not one who is moved by pressure, as shown form his first year of joining the team that was accompanied with so much doubts about how much he will be able to achieve with the team. Now people are left with no choice but to trust him with the Bundesliga, and now with the champions league, he is very likely going to do similar thing by gradually build for it and at a time we did not see it coming he may just win the title.
