Bayern Munich is in a league of its own, just like Paris Saint-Germain is in their own league. And i don't say this to belittle other teams in the various leagues, but simply because they have a club that spends more money to ensure the best version of the team to offer to their fans and their history.
Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are two teams in a league where there are no strong rivals. So even if teams like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Arsenal and Inter lose consistency due to a busy schedule, they do not have to go through that difficult moment. That is why we see them dominating the domestic league and the European league at the same time. If they had strong rivals in the domestic league, I can say for sure that they would have had to give up some matches in the middle of the season. Injuries to players, busy schedules and fatigue of players prevent any strong team from being consistent.

Am glad that you are seeing the glaring reality, Harry Kane was indeed exceptional last season and if any one should win the Ballon d'Or it should be him, his individual touches and character has been exceptional over the years, even though his country didn't win the World Cup he was still exceptional, he has a very good record too at Bayern Munich, hopes are high, he is amongst the favorites for the ballon D'or and i will be so glad if he wins this particular one.
If Bayern Munich had won the Champions League, the Ballon d'Or title would likely have gone to Harry Kane without a doubt. But with their failure to reach the final, the trophy could now be in doubt, and it has repeatedly proven to be an unmeritocratic award.

I agree with you, Harry Kane is the right man to win the Ballon d’Or award this year. No one else deserves it more than him after his performance throughout last season. Other players are just shouting in the internet, thinking they had a better season than Kane last season. Even in the World Cup he gave it his best, but that wasn’t enough for England to reach the final. He won many trophies with Bayern Munich last season, that’s is enough to win the award.
Harry Kane is not cursed at all. A cursed person won the league title back to back, Harry Kane has been having a great performance since he left Tottenham, he only failed to win the league title on his debut season after Leverkusen won the league. But after the first seasons, he have won the league title for two seasons in row. I believe more are still coming this season.
Since it is a FIFA World Cup year, that should also be used as a measure when voting and nominations of players. Harry Kane I think does deserve it but, when I begin to consider the fact that it is a world cup year and it will also be used, I think finishing third with silverware is not enough according to the way they have done it for the past two events. Fabian Ruiz is the perfect name who deserves it, he has literally won everything that should be won this season, but I doubt that. They'll want to give it to Lamine Yamal. Because he won the La Liga title and also the Fifa world cup tournament with spain.

Look you are right to doubt them because currently they are 9th on the table and that proves they are very unserious. They lack the consistency to challenge the top giants like Dortmund and Bayern. They might be playing fast and good counter attacking football sometimes, but i think they just care more about the business angle rather than winning trophies. Starting the season with hypes and noise every season is like the marketing strategy for them and when the transfer window comes, they just sell off their best players for cash.
I believe that clubs that focus and expect more from the commercial aspect than from the sporting one aren't even worthy of representing a football club. Because football is the people's sport and should remain so. Business shouldn't be done to satisfy one's own pockets, but to make an entire fan base happy and represent the history of a football club.

Do you think the odds in this market are worth taking on Dortmund? The odds are only 1.90, so they are not particularly high, but they are still tempting. Looking at the competition in the bundesliga in previous seasons makes me think that Dortmund could once again start dominating second place each season. Although Freiburg have made a good start this season, clubs like them usually tend to lose their best form around the middle of the season. Leverkusen have also started well, but their loss to Elversberg suggests that their defense may be somewhat vulnerable.

It's always like that most of the times, if you can remember last season Bayern Munich didn't start the season quite well, and I was believing that maybe since Bayern Leverkusen has once deprive them of a season and ended their winning streak, I was thinking it's another bad season for them, but as time goes by those teams that were doing just fine started declining and Bayern Munich took the lead, that was the end of the season, so Leipzig almost came with such spirit but was cut short of the glory.
Because it's the most common mistake made by teams that manage to win the league. It happens far too often. Just think of Ranieri's historic Leicester City, which the year they won the Premier League was just a springboard for players to move to other teams. The same goes for Bayer Leverkusen. Once they won the league, their key players left the club, and that takes away the team's chance of maintaining the same quality. It's all about money. Teams that surprisingly perform well in a season and might even win after the season ends the club often doesn't want to keep the players when there are offers from other teams, and sometimes it's actually the players themselves who want to move to bigger clubs to have a chance at winning more titles. That's what happens in every league not just the Bundesliga but also in the EPL and PSG. But when Leverkusen failed to perform well after winning the championship, their players actually remained the same it was just the coach who left. Under Alonso, Leverkusen performed really impressively not only did they win the title, but they also made history by winning it undefeated. However, after Alonso moved to Madrid, Leverkusen struggled to maintain their performance. In the Bundesliga the team that often sells its star players is Dortmund. Maybe if Dortmund could keep their star players they could win the Bundesliga or even the UCL.

I personally hate these very long-term bets just because it takes almost a year until it gets settled, but considering it only in terms of the odds, I think it would be worth it. Leverkusen and Leipzig won't be on the same level, the other teams that have been playing extraordinarily well so far won't be doing that for very long. A few exceptional games, maybe some more surprises occasionally, but Dortmund will finish second eventually.

Especially if someone like Fabian Ruiz, who has won major trophies both with club and national team, is important and it is difficult to ignore him. At the same time, I will not put Harry Kane behind based on who won the World Cup. The important thing in giving the Ballon d'Or is the performance of the whole season, the consistency of the player, the number of goals and how important he was for his own team. We have seen how well Harry Kane played, his individual performance was very strong. On the other hand, an important reason for Ruiz's lead is his team achievements. That is why they are actually strong in two ways. No one's contribution is less than the other.

Things are going well for Dortmund at the moment, but the real test will come in their matches against Bayern Munich. If Dortmund manages to win those games against Bayern, they can certainly remain in contention for the top spot. We all know that Bayern Munich is currently the hardest team to stop in Germany, to face such a magnificent squad, you need to elevate your own quality to an even higher level in those matches.

I think Kompany will treat these head to head clashes much more seriously than some of the Bundesliga matches where he rotates the squad. Borussia Dortmund are strong enough to finish the season in second place, but I believe that if they aren't contending with Bayern for the title, their main priority will be securing a top 4 finish to qualify for the Champions League.

Vincent Kompany was basically Bayern’s third choice when they were looking for a new manager. Back then, Xabi Alonso turned them down, Julian Nagelsmann decided to stay with the German national team, Ralf Rangnick also said no, and there were one or two other options that didn’t work out. So Max Eberl eventually contacted Vincent Kompany, who was still under contract at Burnley at the time. What initially looked like more of a fallback option has now turned into something of a stroke of genius. Funny how football works sometimes: the guy who seemed like the backup plan ends up looking like one of the best decisions they could have made. It’s really quite strange what’s happened in football over the last 20 or 30 years… and the story about Kompany and Bayern Munich is just one of many

It’s really quite strange what’s happened in football over the last 20 or 30 years… and the story about Kompany and Bayern Munich is just one of many I wouldn't go so far as to call it genius Kompany is doing a good job, but the reality is that Bayern has no competition in the Bundesliga right now. In season 2024/2025, Leverkusen finished 2nd with 69 points! In 2025/2026 Dortmund finished with 73 points. Bayern could afford to lose 10 or 9 games respectively and still win the Bundesliga. It's too easy for them, Kompany had the right timing when Diaz and Olise came in, and them team is pretty good compared to any other Bundesliga team. He did will in the Champions League though, credits to him, but for me the real question is whether other coaches would have done significantly worse or better and I think it would have probably been about the same. He is doing a good job, no doubt. His communication is usually very respectable, he doesn't show off or brag or freak out at the field or at press conferences. So overall I think he deserves the position. I dislike his tendency to rotate too much early in the season.

I think it’s already obvious that the Champions League is Bayern’s number one priority. You can see that very clearly from the way the team rotates the squad before Champions League matches, sometimes this even leads to Bayern drawing Bundesliga games, so the team’s priorities are pretty clear. I think Bayern could definitely win the Champions League, because they are in excellent form. Last season PSG managed to stop them, but it’s still unclear how things will turn out this season. Barcelona on the other hand also look very good right now.

im pretty sure he's one of the most likely players to win the Ballon d'Or, along with Haaland, who have an impressive number of goals and assists between them. Therefore, i believe the Ballon d'Or, being an individual award, should go to one of them. It is a double standard kind of thing for bookmakers to leave Haaland out of the main conversation because the guy has been very clinical when it comes to goal scoring and breaking records in the most physically challenging league in Europe. The only concrete reason his odds would be lower has something to do with the fact that his national team didn't qualify for the big summer tournaments and judging a player's individual greatness based on the nationality of his teammates is a joke if you ask me. Harry Kane is a legendary striker but Haaland has a very raw efficiency inside the 18 yard box and that makes him deserving of the crown.

The champions league performance is actually the part of the things to consider when giving award, but the Bayern Munich performance in champions league was poor a little, this balon D'Or that would be given this season seems confusing to me, because I know Kellan Mbappe is expecting it, because thier performances was quite okay and his consistency throughout the season are okay and I was improving by that, though as he didn't make it to lift the world cup trophy, I doubt it would work out for him, because world cup tournament performances are most priority, now everyone is expecting the Ballon d'Or winner should either be Lamine Yamal, Kellan Mbappe, Harry Kane and also Rodri. But we can't tell who would be the winniner as all of them really tried throughout the season.

Therefore, i believe the Ballon d'Or, being an individual award, should go to one of them. Harry Kane and Haaland have great achievements, especially as we have seen that both players have performed exceptionally well in the World Cup and at the club level. Moreover, we can select more players apart from these two players, especially Lamine Yamal and Mbappe, who have performed quite well. If we look at the performance of the players at the club level and the World Cup level, Yamal is the best and has done well as a young player, besides winning the World Cup and having achieved a lot at the club. However, Harry Kane may have more goals and achievements, he may be deserving of winning the Ballon d'Or, but in any case, only the players who are deserving and have good achievements will win. The Ballon d'Or is a personal award, only those who have performed well and achieved well personally are worthy of this award.

I think Bayern could definitely win the Champions League, because they are in excellent form. Last season PSG managed to stop them, but it’s still unclear how things will turn out this season. Barcelona on the other hand also look very good right now.
Bayern Munich were in a better form than PSG last season but still lost to them, so its clearly not about the best team anymore, a club with little expectations could win the Champions League this season. But we have our favorites, Barca and Bayern Munich as the most favorites to win considering their performance in league matches, it's more interesting when there is a lot of competition so it's worth the wait.

Looking at the gap between them and the second team in the last two seasons, it is clear that the other teams have not been able to maintain their level consistently. However, I find it difficult to reconcile your calculations with the fact that Bayern could have become champions even if they had lost 10 or 9 matches. In 2024/25, Bayern finished with 82 points and Leverkusen had 69 points. There was a 13-point gap between them. Even if I assume that Bayern had won and lost 5 more matches, their points would have dropped to 68 and Leverkusen would have been above them. Last season, Bayern also got 89 points and Dortmund 73. The gap was 16, not 9 matches.
