Kompany’s work this season isn’t just about keeping Bayern top in the Bundesliga. He’s also got a point to prove in the Champions League after last year’s failure. Under him, Bayern look unreal. Everything clicks. The passing between the lines is slick, they break forward way quicker, and that high press is suffocating teams. Keeping Olise and letting Kane roam is clearly part of the plan to stay dangerous up top. In the Bundesliga they’re miles ahead of everyone. But in the UCL, their quality will truly be put to the test.
Bundesliga is mostly like a walk in the park for them. It is going to be another boring season and since they kept their squad together and had some additions, I have no idea how any of the other clubs could come close to them. It's a big advantage for them to have Kane as he is barely injured, always on top of things and guarantee for goals. Olise is of course a great player, but he has ups and downs. I still can't forget about the statistic at the World Cup where he had like over 20 shots on target and not a single goals. Of course he is one of a kind in giving assists, but I remember how bad he was against PSG last year and that was one reason why Bayern lost in the Champions League.

The analogy is spot on, and that’s exactly how it is. We’ve seen it for years now. The Bundesliga is just boring. The vibe is nothing like the EPL, La Liga or Serie A where it actually feels like anyone can win it. Ask any fan who’s winning the league and they’ll all say the same thing, Bayern again. No one else is even close on points. And I’m not gonna pin Bayern’s UCL exit last season on Olise. They lost to PSG because the backline was sleeping and kept leaving gaps. Made it way too easy for them. Tbh Olise has been massive for Bayern. That’s probably why they don’t want to let Madrid anywhere near him.

As for the Champions League Kompany already knows he has so much to do there. It is even better if he focuses his energy more towards that direction since the Bundlesliga is no longer a game to struggle for if they just stay consistent.

When Xavi Alonso led Leverkusen, the team rose to the top of the Bundesliga, but since he left, the team has weakened again. Bayern Munich is currently the strongest team in the Bundesliga, and there is no team that can compete with them at the moment, and Dortmund is not strong enough either. Bayern Munich has currently created a team that no other team has the potential to resist them, especially with enough good players in the team and their leadership is also great. Teams like Dortmund and Leverkusen are currently out of form, and I think they will never be able to compete with Bayern Munich this season. And Bayern Munich has formed such a strong team that no other team can ever beat them, but Bayern Munich is the hero of winning the title this season. The performance that Bayern Munich has shown at the moment and last season has left enough good players in the team to maintain their consistency. However, they played with enough excitement to maintain Bayern Munich's dominance in the Bundesliga and took good steps to keep the team in a good position.
The Leverkusen that Xabi Alonso coached was a beautiful team and managed to play some very good games. Now he's in a bit of trouble, i don't know what's causing it. Obviously Bayern Munich is the first team in the Bundesliga. Bayern Munich has a team of champions and Dortmund or Leverkusen can hardly give them problems.

Bayern Munich has all that is required to subdue all other clubs in the bundesliga as long as the club wants.
The other clubs are imho not serious to fight for the league title to stop Bayern Munich dominance. Before every new season begins you notice the likes of B. Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen and others selling their keys players that made outstanding feat for the club in previous season.
All this just to make money while weakening the team's squad capability to compete strongly, and in some transfers it will be Bayern Munich buying this players into their fold.
I believe that however it is not entirely true, in the sense that if a club due to skill or luck still manages to reach a certain level of the Bundesliga, at that point i believe it can seriously try. As had happened to Borussia Dortmund a few years ago, as when they had Terzić as coach, who had reached the last championship match that could win the Bundesliga and let it fade away due to its own fault.

Bayern Munich is the face of Bundesliga and that was why when Leverkusen came to lead one season they could not be able to return back again, when you talk about Borussia Dortmund, they have tried in the past when it comes to challenging Bayern Munich, but unfortunately there could not maintain the consistency of fighting for trophy against Bayern Munich. When Xavi Alonso was in Leverkusen, he did so well for the team but when he left everything went back to the normal days for them. Bayern Munich will continue to dominate the Bundesliga and I don't see any team that can stand to challenge them now except in the future.
Yes, in this historical moment the German clubs are not focusing much on forming a team that can compete, but more on creating individually strong players who can win and so that they can make money. This obviously doesn't make their fans happy, who realize it, the Spanish fans have said all kinds of things about Xabi, but one thing is certain, with Leverkusen he showed his maximum potential, it was the right team for him. This season perhaps Bayer Munich's victory will be repeated, but we'll see what happens.

You are right, since Alonso left, there haven't been any improvement at all, and if you noticed when Alonso won that title he had quality players that made it possible, unlike the current team. What I do ask myself sometimes is that, Is it that these other teams don't have enough money to sign better players or what?.
Speaking of Dortmund, they are no longer competitive like they used to be, the only thing they do now is to train player and then sell them off. I think Bayern Munich will still dominate the league this season again, because I don't see any spirit of competition in other teams.
I think the UCL qualification slot for Bundesliga should be reduced to 1or 2, then maybe other teams will become much more competitive.
In reality, the Bayer Leverkusen team that won the Bundesliga with Xabi Alonso did not have individually strong players. He had players who, together, created a strong team. It was the team play that was strong, not the individual players, because if we then look at the various individual players who were sold, they went to other teams and some to top clubs, but they didn't perform as well as they did at Bayer Leverkusen. You might be right about Bayer Munich, but it's still too early to be certain that they will be able to dominate again this season.

I don't think there's much intrigue here either, because Borussia Dortmund is generally second behind Bayern. Occasionally either Bayer or Leipzig can push them over, but generally everything happens fairly predictably. I think the bigger question is which teams besides Bayern and Borussia Dortmund will be able to secure Champions League spots. That's probably the main intrigue for the other Bundesliga teams.

~ And I’m not gonna pin Bayern’s UCL exit last season on Olise. They lost to PSG because the backline was sleeping and kept leaving gaps. Made it way too easy for them. Tbh Olise has been massive for Bayern. That’s probably why they don’t want to let Madrid anywhere near him. I said he was one reason and I am sure that everyone who has a clue knows what I mean. He wasn't effective, dribbling got stuck, bad passing. It makes a huge difference when Olise has a great day vs. Olise has a bad day. Key players always make a difference. Let Real Madrid play with a 50% Mbappe and you know they will have a problem. There have been several reasons why Bayern didn't win back then and some they were not even to blame for (referee - penalty and denied red card for example). In the second leg back then, if Olise players one of his best games ever, I still think he could have made the difference. Guesses for tomorrow by the way? Bayern - Stuttgart 4-1

Guesses for tomorrow by the way? Bayern - Stuttgart 4-1 Oh wow… is that really your pick? 😄 I think opening games are really hard to predict. You never know how good the teams are gonna be — whether they’re already 100% fit or still only at like 80%. But since the game’s in the evening at the Allianz Arena, I could definitely see it being a 3–0 or even 5–0. I honestly don’t think Stuttgart will get more than a point there, unless they pull off a big surprise.

Gonna predict my top 5:
1 Bayern Munich 2 Borussia Dortmund 3 Bayer Leverkusen 4 RB Leipzig 5 Stuttgart
I like the atmosphere and level of play in the Bundesliga, but sadly the champion is always so predictable....
Yes, we can say that it is an absolutely plausible ranking. That's probably what will actually happen. However, Bayern Munich still has more competitions to play in and this will certainly lead to a decline in play at some point in the season and if their opponents are in a good enough scoring situation they could try the trick and manage to overcome them. Football is beautiful because it is unexpected.

The main attraction of the Bundesliga is the third and fourth places. Usually the first place is reserved for Bayern Munich and the second place is reserved for Borussia Dortmund. There is still an exciting atmosphere between the remaining places in the Bundesliga. There are only 2 days left until the start of the season, Bayern Munich will face Stuttgart in the first match. This match is also decided, Bayern Munich is going to get an easy win. Like last season, there is no team to challenge Munich this season. I will still be happy if someone can take a position even close to Bayern Munich at the end of the season, even if Munich wins the championship by a margin of 5-7 points, we can say that the league has been competitive.

Ever since Bayern Leverkusen won the league last two seasons ago, they're becoming weak and worse. Alonso did well with them that season but things started falling apart the following season and Alonso was asked to leave on a mutual agreement when Real Madrid picked interest in him. To make things worse, they still parted ways with some of their important players including Victor Boniface who's been their main striker. The failure still behind them as new season is about to kick off. If they manage to make it to European competition, that's their luck but I don't see them competing for trophies this season.

Bayern Munich is still not a team that any of current Dortmund or Bayern Leverkusen team can think they’ll have an edge against. They are more stronger than them and have more dominancy than them in the competition. When you talk of squad depth, quality of players and managers impact on the team, they can’t all be compared to Bayern Munich. This is just yet another season for Bayern Munich to triumph for the Bundesliga trophy and it’ll continue like that until other teams build a more formidable squad depth with big players in them.

Since Alonso left and they sold so much of their best players they werent even close to that championship team. They are closer to Dortmund but to Bayern Munich they are miles away. Bayern Munich is the most dominant team in the league and i dont see any team that can come even close this season to their level.

Kompany knows exactly what Bayern Munich needs. That's why he works overtime to consistently assemble the best squad and the best options for Bayern Munich. They've had a great start to the league and won the cup. They'll want to dominate Germany again, and I think they will. Look at their average number of goals, last year Bayern Munich was a fantastic team. I think they'll experience a similar situation this year as well.
Vincent Kompany has proven himself to be a very capable coach. He had already gained some experience and at Bayern Munich i would say he feels very comfortable and the team feels very comfortable with him. Bayern Munich has performed very well since he arrived on the bench and it was seen last season, taking home the Bundesliga title and also coming very close to the Champions League title.

With their financial situation, Bayern Munich won’t lack top players for this new season. Their financial strength really supports the team’s achievements. Kompany gets full backing from management. This situation has been going on for a long time, and Munich’s dominance is something we can see even today. They only failed when Leverkusen won the championship, if I’m not mistaken in 2023/2024. Over the years, as far as I’ve been following the big European leagues, only Dortmund and Munich have been able to consistently stay at the top. Other teams just appear for a season and then disappear. Maybe this is because of their business model of selling their star players who can bring profit to the club and then trying to produce new star players again.

But still I would not completely say stuttgart is ruled out, getting anything from Bayern at home will be a very difficult task for them. To me, 3-0 feels more realistic than 5-0 if Bayern can even score early, the game could be comfortably a win for them

Exactly, it’s a question of consistency and longevity. Both Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have always shown good consistency; the rest have been fleeting, inconsistent performances, such as those of Leverkusen, Wolfsburg and Schalke 04. But the Bavarians’ planning and financial resources are unrivalled in the Bundesliga; the team is now a recognised brand that sells well around the world.

It’s quite boring to watch a league that isn’t competitive like the English premier league and the Spanish laliga. How you tell me we already know the team that’s going to win the league just from the first game round. The only team that did a wonders in recent time challenge for the title and even won it was the Bayern leverkusun under the management of Xabi Alonso and even the biggest team in the bundesliga was surprised at their performance keeping an unbeaten run from the start of the season to the end. This are the kind of competition that we want to be seeing in the top five leagues but we don’t get to see that often, maybe only in the top two teams and that’s why they I regard them as the top two.
