It was a really disappointing result from Leverkusen in today's match, based on the team they played against. If it was a strong team that we have known for a while, or a team that has been in the Bundesliga for a while, I may not have been disappointed. But against a promoted team? I will say it was bad from Leverkusen for losing the match. However, I will never make a conclusion now. I would like to watch and see how their performances will be in their next few matches. That is when I can say whether they can make the top four in the table or not.
But I know that Leverkusen can never be a challenge Bayern Munich for a while because they don't have the kind of squad to fight for the Bundesliga title. Assuming they had not sold some of their key players back in the last two seasons, when Alonso left, I would still have had some kind of hope for them in the Bundesliga. If I should see any other team that could challenge Bayern Munich, it would likely be Dortmund or Leipzig, not Leverkusen again, at least for now.
When it comes to Bayer Leverkusen, I have given up on them since last seasons on how they were performing, when they took that bodly move under the leadership of Xavi Alonso, I thought it's going to be the end for Bayern Munich, but unfortunately i was disappointed by them and since I don't surprise in any kind of result they have.
Bayer Leverkusen have lose their focus for a promoted team to win them in their first match of the league, Elversberg just got promoted to the Bundesliga this season and did so well in winning their first match against Bayer Leverkusen, sometimes we would like to give benefit of doubt but in this circumstances I don't expect bayer Leverkusen to be so low to even lose their first match of the season.
