in my opinion the best wallet and the one that no one could steal your bitcoins from easily is the paper wallet or the hardware one though if you need a hot wallet which you could use every day then online wallet like blockchain.info is the best in my opinion

Or look into a hardware wallet and it's very easy to spend bitcoin.  But much safer then a hot wallet.

I would highly suggest doing this over actually using a hot wallet.   I went from strong paper supporter to hardware supporter recently after using one.

I like electrum as my bitcoin wallet, really easy to use and register  Cheesy
If you got extra money, you could buy a hardware wallet.

Blockchain.info if you want to hold only few coins (1-2 bitcoin), but I advice you to create a paper-wallet if you have a big amount of bitcoin.

Blockchain.info the best wallet in my opinion and very safe.

But I do not prefer online wallets. Even blockchain, info provides access to our private keys, I prefer desktop/software wallets. I like multibit and Electrum. Bitcoin core also fine if you have higher data limit and disk space.

Is there any good reason why blockchain.info is added back to bitcoin.com website?
OP: There are lots of bitcoin wallets showed here https://www.bitcoin.com/choose-your-wallet?category=web

I have not had any complaints about Coinbase and I have 2 wallets through them.  I am not liking XAPO much.  I also have a wallet on my computer.  I say that keeping a number of wallets are a good idea, just in case one should be down when you need it.  Any opinions about this?

I still have more to add to them but they are pretty decent right now on some hands on that I have been testing some hardware wallets.   If your interested in hardware wallets or curious about them you might check one of these threads out:

Trezor: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1298917.0
KeepKey: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1283805
Ledger Nano: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1305888

If you have any questions feel free to ask.   I make 0 off of sales so I have no motive to push for sales, which I think is important in this area.  I think they shine where you need accesss to money as it does it without key being on computer, so much safer there.

Paper wallets still do have a function.  If your going to set on something for the next few years and not access it a properly done paper wallet has nothing wrong with it.  All depends on what your usage is on what is best.

What is the best bitcoin wallet?
It really depends on the type of user.
If you are new to bitcoin: use coinbase/copay
If you have a bit of information already use mycelium
If you want an ios wallet use bither

The Best Bitcoin Wallet? The hardware wallet, it's expensive, but really safe and secure
Otherwise, Electrum is great if you are new to bitcoins

I have tested a few and the biggest thing hardware wallets have in my mind is keeping the key on them.  They sign the transaction on the device and not on the computer.  So even if a computer had a virus it's not going to give away a wallet file, or seed's, etc.

So that is huge on if your going to use it keeping transaction signed on the hardware wallet.  And if your are not going to use it and holding for year's or something a proper paper wallet is not bad.  It is all based on what your doing on what is best for you.
