Bitcoin Core is the way to go.
i suggest bitcoin core also but it really depends on what platform you are on. if youre on a mobile phone, android has mycelium and iphone has coinbase/breadwallet/bither. i really like the features of bither and the layout of coinbase.

there is something akin for mobile, it's called "bitcoin wallet" it resemble core, and it was top 1 among the most secure wallet for mobile
The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

You can also use some hardware wallets on a mobile android like Trezor, and Ledger.  I think those are nice features with using a hardware wallet in conjunction with a mobile phone.

MyCelium is good with both of those hardware wallets.

For newbie they can go with blockchain which they can easily understand on the first and early time.
For security concern we can go with paper wallet like multibit and electrum both are good as desktop wallet and offline one. Coinbase and blockchain is a android wallet easy to use.

I agree with poster above. I do not really know if it is best, as I had not used other wallets, but Multibit HD works great for me, syncs fast, and makes backups all by itself. I think it is worth trying.

Same here. i'm also using blockchain.info for online bitcoin wallet. Easy to use, simple, no adds and the fee also small. the only problem for me is the confirmation is sometimes to long.

Just make sure you keep in mind it's a hot wallet.  There are uses no doubt for a hot wallet, but it should be treated as such.

If long term storage there are likely better solutions for you then hot wallet.

I have to use a mix of Bitcoin Core and Electrum, they're the best for cli imo. Once a way to use Core without downloading the entire blockchain is implemented, then I'll be using strictly Core.

Same here mate but I use Electrum more as for me it is easier to use but probably just got myself used to it.

it has same weakness due to the printing especially, you need to be sure that the private key was not memorized in the cache of the printer

also it's not very comfortable to use, i prefer a usb stick

How about  https://blockchain.info/   security? You hold your private keys..
Don't need to be sync. It is behind cloud..
I'm using it and so far i'm very happy.

It's not a bad wallet, but your right those should be considered.  Some that do it are there to run a node and support the "network".

But for most people a light wallet not needing the full blockchain is best.   It just depends on the user really.  I still think hardware wallets will become more and more important and used.

Blockchain is the best wallet I have been using it from long time and it's been very safe and secure and very easy as well.

yeah. The most popular Bitcoin wallet today. Blockchain.info allows you to send and receive Bitcoins through your browser or mobile phone. This is what’s known as a hybrid wallet. the company stores your wallet online but they do not have access to your private keys.
However since the wallet is loaded from their servers some trust in the company is still needed. Recommended for beginners who are trying out Bitcoin.
