At the minute we don't really have a central place for discussion that we are using. With the 2016 event a lot was conveyed on this forum.

I worked with CoinFest.org to setup a dedicated forum for them at (http://forum.coinfest.org/index.php) but as you can see it's a little empty. I will be posting the CoinFestUK updates (On both forums) but hopefully the forum will pickup as we get closer to the event

I think it's really going to help to keep track of what's happening where on the fly... random people doing little events around the world will post there

Hey guys (I posted this in the CoinFest forum a few weeks back but would like to see people's opinions here aswell)

This is just an idea (and I know it goes against one of the fundermental rules of CoinFest!) but I think it has some justice as an idea that 'might' work.

What if we charge visitors were charged a £1 fee for a ticket for CoinFest but on attending CoinFest they receive this £1 back in Bitcoin as a paper wallet.

As stated on the CoinFest forum, I think it's fine if you're funding the wallets, yourself. You're basically just making them buy Bitcoin.
