I've been having issues with my review copy S7 the last day or so, with it not getting even close to the advertised 4.86 TH/s.

I've tried the following:

-reset the miner to factory settings
-physically turn off the miner and turn it on again
-restart it in the software (tried this about 7 times)
-downclock it to 575 MHz as well as 593 MHz

I'm getting fairly high HW error rates (at 593MHz I was getting 2% HW error rates, about 0.2% @ 575MHz) and low hashrates (between 2TH/s and 4TH/s) - I was reading through this thread a week or two ago and noticed others had similar issues, did anyone ever find a fix for these problems?

What PSU are you running with? S7 needs a solid 12V, ideally 12.2V when under full load. If you have a multimeter check the voltage actually getting to the PCIE sockets.

I did not want to take up space on this thread with multiple screenshots of the "miner status" of all nine S7's.  Here are the results after 24 hours of use.  Look at the "average" [GH/s (avg)] hash rate at 4.8+ TH/s.  Look at the HWE% as well out to the right of HW in their proper columns.  I'm quite impressed.  You can click on the screenshot of each S7 in the link provided to maximize the screenshot then click again to minimize.

Very Cool dmwardjr!!!  All at 4.8th/s---Very Cool!

Yes, I thought it was "quite cool" as well, Aries.  I'm impressed with the noise factor as well.  Sounds to me about the same decibels as the S5.  My IBM 2880W PSU's are louder than the S7.

Rich
I'm running a LEPA 1600W unit. Can't check the voltage right now but I'll check to see in the next day or so if it's getting at least a solid 12V.

Just checked it after four hours of running, turns out is started at about 4.3 TH/s, and ended up at around 1.3 TH/s before I rebooted it. I'm really going to have to figure this out, seems like a serious issue.

1600W LEPA is a piece of shit. (I have send it back to warranty 4 pieces of 6).

Use proper single rail PSU, not modular LEPA

Bitmain 1600 watt and a pair of corsair rm1000 both work well
Bitmain 1600 has a good price at $155
May be an rma

I've run a pile of them myself but never had a problem, not a single RMA... Of course I balance the load across the rails and don't simply plug things a random set of plugs..  I wonder if it's the PSU or operator error...

I did however stop using them last year when I flipped to DPS-2000BB and IBM 2880W PSUs, would never turn back now and a much better value than the Bitmain PSU.

I've burnt a few of LEPA 1600's with 3 Neptune cubes @475 MHz across 3 rails (1200W total at the wall). It took about a year to happen and the strange thing was that they burnt out at around the same time. I also have a bunch connected to 2 cubes and they are still fine. I guess pushing 30A per rail is probably the limit for this PSU, though it is worse if more rails are at the limit.

I was about to say the same thing.

Those temps are insanely low.

Maybe you're mining in the arctic?
