What are the best investment opetions for bitcoins to be put into?

I think the best and safer way to invest your money is to use it for mining cpu and software. Specially if the electric cost in your country is not that much.

then you must go travel and stay at china
as there the only place that have the lowest electricity cost in the world afaik
that's why a lot of mining company come from china , they have that advantage
you can try solo mining too , just don't mine bitcoin , do mine on altcoins.

You are right, but consider that there is people like I`m that can`t afford to wait too much. There is scammers and ponzi schemes, but also there is nice ways to make profit with your bitcoin investments. You shouldnt be afraid to risk from time to time, you can lower your risk in many investments with smart approach. Again for someone buying and storing bitcoins is also a risk, not so big in this moment as it seems but what is 100 % safe today, right?
Relax a bit and try something, maybe you will find some fun in trying to make more bitcoins then you have now.

i agree with you because with holding bitcoin in our wallet then for me its the same as make an investment for long term and for this reason, i can make profit in next week or next month. so i think holding bitcoin is the best investment that we can do for now and wait for the high price and sell it to get much of profit.

it all depends on the experience and your strategy. because if you don't have a good strategy and experience, surely you will be confusion after buy and end up losing. but the trade is better than gambling. When you lose on a trade, you still have a chance to get back into profit. even if you have a good strategy, you can backup if the price goes down. at least the recovery in altcoin is very good. while gambling is very difficult in terms of recovery.

Altcoins are too risky. It's basically like gambling since people are just hoping for a lucky pump. If you understand what risks you are exposing yourself to, and are willing to accept potentially losing a significant amount, then you can go for it. In extreme cases you'll make a massive profit, or at the same time a massive loss. Important is that you never calculate yourself rich with altcoins. Cash out when you can instead of waiting for an ever higher price.

Not all altcoins are born equal

Some are more equal than others. For example, Dogecoin is better equipped than Bitcoin for wild and relentless speculation while it is definitely less risky than the total majority of other altcoins out there. And I'm not even speaking about ICOs which are more often than not are outright scams. Dogecoin has been sticking around since 2013, it has enough volatility and its confirmation times are lightening fast, which makes it a perfect vehicle for speculation and profiteering, if you are not quite happy with what Bitcoin offers in this respect

There is no investment worthing ok? I don't agree with all other investments said here like casino, alt coins, mining and all other. All of these investments will give you low return or aren't safe enough to give you stability. Just hold your btcs and use it as money to buy stuff.

Investment with btcs don't work, people on the internet are only looking for your money (to steal it). Any moment this can happen, be prepared!

But the point is that a lot people here want to put their coins to work in the way that they will increase in quantity. Exactly this is what makes people put themselves into big risks. Especially because of the fact that most of the investment options are either a scam from the start, or they will become one at a later stage when their site or service doesn't bring in a decent amount of profit anymore. That's why every investment option must be treated as such at the very beginning.

Tokens and altcoins these past few days aren't growing much because of BTC going up. you can expect that to happen every time btc pumps.
I would rather stick to BTC in times like these but if you have some spare, put some to the cheaper ones which have potential in the future.

I meant to say that compared to all other investment options, just holding your coins is the best/safest possible investment. This however doesn't mean you need to keep holding everything firmly without securing profits every now and then. It's up to the person. I personally have one stash that I don't, and won't touch in the coming years, and a stash that I use for trading purposes. This way I make profit all the way, and my long term holding coins stay exactly where they are.

Trading is not the same as gambling, but if you have been unable to obtain any profits with altcoins then I think you have taken the right decision by just staying out of it and only buying bitcoin.

Trading is not the same as gambling, but if you have been unable to obtain any profits with altcoins then I think you have taken the right decision by just staying out of it and only buying bitcoin.

It's not the same in the sense that you need to have the skills and knowledge to be able to succeed in trading but in gambling you just have to be lucky to win but you skills will only limit your loses and being matured in gambling is necessary otherwise you will lose big amount of money.

Okay, I see what you mean. In this way, just holding coins taken separately from other investment options available for Bitcoin (including investing in Bitcoin itself) may well be the safest option. Regarding your particular case of managing coins, I'm not very far from it myself. With the only considerable difference being that I keep growing my reserves of bitcoins which roughly correspond to your "untouchable" stash of bitcoins. Really, if you are trading profitably with your working capital, sooner or later it will surpass that stash...

Then why not add more coins to it, just to keep balance and not lose future profits?

There are more ways to trade than just buy and hope for a raise in price, you could short an altcoin with the hope it goes down in value and you will secure a profit when the market goes down.
