I think that the  best option to invest at current point of time is bitcoin because I think in 2016 it has give 70% of return which no other asset class has given it. Also gold has not given anywhere that much return in past 5 years.

Gold is not shorterm investment but long investment
in investment real gold in physic must compare fiat money, because if dollar price is high Gold price is down, and dollar price low, gold price high
if you want shorterm investment and use can get much profit in fast time you can gold in online trading forex so you can get fast time in profit and high return, but you can lost all money if without skill

With gold you have to keep in mind that people use it as a very long term store of value solution and not really as an investment. People holding gold don't mind the price not going up a lot as they just add value to the stability aspect. If they at the end of a few years see that they gained like 10-15% then it's a more than welcome bonus for them. And people in Bitcoin constantly complain about Bitcoin not moving much while it has nearly doubled in value in the last 12 months.

Though it is still interesting as a short-term asset for speculation (you don't need to buy and sell physical gold if you aim specifically at that), I don't think that anyone with their eyes open and brain functioning (gold bugs obviously drop out from this category since they are mostly braindead overall) would consider 10-15% gain after 3-5 years as a "bonus" since this is where inflation would be for that time span, if not above (we are talking about US dollars obviously)

the correct answer to this question is no even if you are pretty sure, you can never be 100% sure and that is why diversification comes in. you invest in multiple places and spread this risk, it can be anything that you feel like is worth investing in such as gold, silver, stocks, forex, real estate,...

Sell whenever there is a slight rise and buy whenever there is a slight drop. Do not wait for a big one because it is not gonna happen.

Same thing with me, I tried to invest my coins before and sell it maybe 3 months ago and now that the bitcoin is increasing it is full of regret in my part knowing that the bitcoin still increasing so fast now.

i think its now the time to decrease because the price of bitcoin is getting down in under $900 and i think if you buy, you can watch what happen in the market and if you feel you can enter to the order buy, then you can choose the price in more deep but not to deep to choose.

ICO is certainly a good investment only if you pick the right coin. It is very risky and must be done with enough knowledge as most ICO's after getting released just dump right there. After that the developers also goes with its investors money. If you're planning to invest in ICO's be cautious.

I have never consider anything as a guaranteed profit. Any kind of investment has a risks. It's just that some investments has become successful which is what lessen the risks. The reason why most people are searching for another way to earn bitcoin aside from investing to it is they know that you can't earn from it in a day or week. You must wait. Or some people can't afford buying one that's why they just keep increasing their funds.

Not at all, even you can make some bucks for your amount and at the other view it seems like bet your money in a casino. You had been seen every day up to 2 new ICO was appearing. It seems like a disease.
It's not a good place for investing our money and will better just wait until the coin will be hit the exchange site and grab some from the bounty hunters.

you should think more international when giving suggestions here. and these two markets you mentioned are so country dependent. for example the stocks market has a very bad situation in my country and it has not been a good investment for a while now.

but real estate on the other hand has been down but it is starting to go up and speculations say there will be a boom in the near future. but generally real estate is not so much profitable in most places.

That's the thing. There are many types of real estate, for example, commercial including offices and retail, industrial and residential for rent. You should be well versed in the market to see profit opportunities there, and they are not great today as you yourself say. Regarding possible boom in the near future, it seems not to be very likely in a situation when economies are slowing down with a world-wide recession looming.
