Gambling. Is It Wrong?

Gambling is not wrong as long you are not addicted you have your control in yourself.Gambling is based on luck and we cannot say if we were winning or loosing the time when we play.Its not profitable so dont depend always on it, its just for fun and give us relaxation but at the end loosing money with it is always risky.

This is the sole reason why I consider coming as a wrong act.  If we look at this from religion point of view then I think no religion of the world especially Christianity and Islam do not allow gambling rather love of money. Gambling triggers greed inside us that is why it is very dangerous and people and up losing their wealth most of the times.  Regardless of right or wrong, it is harmful to gamble so we better avoid this.

Yeah you're right. All I know about gambling is you will lose all in the end. In my own opinion gambling is never right for me rather it is wrong. Because many people become greedy and deep in depths because of gambling. They borrowed money for they will going to gamble it and make it as bankroll wrong moves.

I don't think gambling is wrong but it is not beneficial at all. I tried gambling before using Bitcoin and I don't know if I'm just unlucky or what but I don't seem to win ever so to me or to my point of view it is not beneficial at all.

I think its not wrong, everything will becomes wrong only if it compromise other important things like time for family, obligations and commitment. But playing gambling with limitations and just for fun and pastimes is really not wrong.

Many new gamblers start with the same mentality that they want to gamble only for fun but if they like any of these games then they will start playing these games every day. Even though you spend small amount every day then over the time you will spend a lot of money on these which is not good if your earnings are not that high. That's why if you find some other activities to pass your time then it will be good. Gambling should be an occasional activity.

Actually depends on how people around and your environment , are they mostly hate any form of gambling?
If they do, it is hard to say that gambling is not wrong , you might can do whatever you want , but think about how people around you react on it?
So if you feel fine , just gamble without have to feel guilty and recognize gambling as a normal thing not a wrong thing.

Well, if the people around you are not being hurt by your actions, but they don't like gambling, then it's different.  If your actions are hurting others directly then that's wrong, but if your actions are not hurting them, then they should mind their own business.  If others don't like your taste in music, should you stop listening to it?   If it's done responsibly ---> gambling is not wrong.

I could not agree more with you mate. We should at all times mind our own business and as long as other actions will not harm us it is all good. There are really people who gambles responsibly and are just playing for fun and not for profit at all.

When someone is already totally uncontrollable. Paper wise, Casinos or gambling provide entertainment and employment to many. Also, it contributes tax for the government. It's just how a gambler react and how the circumstances affect the attitude and behavior of a gambler that makes gambling wrong.

I think it's a big mistake to play if you can not  stop and if you are not a very patient/smart person.It's a business for some people and their income depends on your loses,they are trying to earn more and more by your loses.You can win once, twice, but in the end you still lose.The worst moment,when you gambling,you think that you can stop,but it is not true,you have only a big wish to win,In this situation, you can not thinking cleverly and you hope to win more and more,But it is just a wish,not a real idea,because the chance of win does not  depend on you.despite all of this,This is a source of livelihood for some people and they are trying to  play very cleverly.
I always play for fun and I am ready to lose,because i know that , in this sphere no one can win always and the biggest winner is casino.

Sad to think that there are people who cant able to realize on what they are doing specially on the addicted ones which they didnt even think on what would be the consequences and the things that would mainly be affected.You are not the only being affected but also your loved ones specially if you are a family man financial matter would really be affected. Only the legal ones and most probably just the land based casinos. Online casinos might pay in their country of origin. Online casinos don't employ, except those devs.

In my own personal opinion, gambling using your bitcoin is just entertaining and not beneficial. You will just experience more losses if you have been addicted or greedy in gambling. So if you want a balance play you need to limit yourself when you gamble all the time do mot excees in your limit for you not to lose a lot of profit.

I don't really think most people spend their bitcoin on anything, I think most of them gamble their winnings again to try and make even more. It takes lots of self control to just stop and say ok now I will withdraw and then you start thinking how much more you can make and get greedy. You have to stop. If you don't stop you will lose. If you have won a lot you can't expect to keep winning, you must lose sometimes just like everything in life. for me much better to save my bitcoin to my wallet than to play gambling to earn more, i have truama about gambling in my past, i play gambling because i'm bored and stress, i decide to play gamble to relax myself, but my money i bring are all loss.

I agree with you both. As long as you didn't cross your limit, everything is fine. But since it is gambling, winning all the time is not possible, there will always be some time when you don't win. Again, it's fine, as long as you are not using the money that is supposed to be for other important things in life.

Discipline is the key so you won't waste money in gambling whether you gamble with fiat or bitcoin.
