There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

You can paste them in at blockchain.info - though I don't know much about interpreting what you see besides the basics like the balance.

EDIT: Never mind, forgot these are private keys. Trying them in the regular search feature at blockchain.info was useless.

I like tradeblock but there are probably others with more details for mempool stats.

There appears to be around 60 Mb at the time of writing, of unconfirmed transactions. I wonder how many are from these shennanigans.

So why wouldn't a mining pool operator create a script to scrape the keys from here and create a transaction that has the complete amount as transaction fee. Then there would be a near zero chance that any member here would get to transact some bitcoin to themselves since their transactions will have a lower fee. That would take away any motivation to even try and create transactions.

If someone (anyone) did that this spam attempt would die a quick death, wouldn't it?

What a clever brilliant move.  I really didn't see this coming.  Curious if it's gonna be enough to properly stress test Bitcoin.

I believe that F2Pool did that during the last "test":

Largest transaction ever mined, 999.657 KB. Consumes an entire block.

bb41a757f405890fb0f5856228e23b715702d714d59bf2b1feb70d8b2b4e3e08 - 999,657 B

Is F2Pool still trying to consolidate the "spam" transactions? [Bitcoin Block #364784 - 976.453125 KB / 2 Transactions]

9c667c64fcbb484b44dcce638f69130bbf1a4dd0fbb4423f58ceff92af4219ec - 999,622 B
