sorry ive been away for awhile, had some back problems that required hospitalization. learned that most physiotherapists are evil people. (laughs) managed to check in once in a blue moon, but spent whole buncha time in painkiler induced fugues. so, back to work on the applications ive been working on. ive built the soil-ex exchange, and launched it. ill get it up and running for you folks to beta test today. its been a personal project of mine for awhile, and ive done a lot of work learning the code on it, and hopefully within a week or two i can launch some schelling-coin inspired pegged tokens (to commodities) on the exchange as well. cross-chain trading is still something that remains a future development for it. ive researched a great deal about cross chain interactions, and atomic swaps seem the best way to go right now. hope you all are doing well.
ive also been thinking about selling some of my personal account of SOIL (about 15000SOIL) to raise the 0.1BTC needed to guarantee lisiting SOIL on yobit. what do you folks think of that? is yobit an exchange you guys trust? does anyone want to donate SOIL or BTC towards this? 0.1BTC gets us listed within two business days. i think it would be advantageous to have another exchange opened for SOIL.

Yes, get well soon! I don't know much about yobit. I like their (for me) clean and intuitiv interface. It would be good to be listed on another exchange. I would pledge 5000 of my personal account of SOIL. |

The message "Bad block #334000" is that ok?
I had that message even after I've deleted chaindata and nodes data, but after that block it synced normally, so I think it's ok. And hey, guys, I can send several thousand soils for yobit listing too! Where to send? |

working on a few schelling coins to introduce to the SOIL-ex distributed exchange today, tying them in thru tinyoracle to the prices for a couple hard commodities via the chicago mercantile exchange. hopefully will have it all up for you to test this evening, if we dont lose power, we have a blizzard rolling in today for nova scotia.. only a foot of snow, so fingers crossed.

well, everything was in to yobit by about 10PM atlantic time last night. so, if they hold true to their word, we should be listed by thursday at yobit. interesting exchange, hadnt really given it much of a hard look before, their faucets are insane and plentiful, the shoutbox is pretty active, the layout is minimalist and clean.. all in all, another midsized exchange, which i think will be good for SOIL. will let you all know the moment we're listed.

yobit isn't one of my favorite exchange but surely is better than nothing. btw, SOILcoin have a really nice and active community and this is the link for the coin request @ Poloniex (my favorite exchange): https://poloniex.com/coinRequest. If there's a bunch of detailed request IMHO we have a possibility to be listed there, i hope. |
