I have been trading for a while, but stopped because I got dizzy from following all these (new) altcoins. I found out it is almost impossible to predict movements on short term. In stead, I do a bit of analysis combined with gutt feeling and buy me a few lower ranked coins with potential. Sit back and wait for the pump to happen.

If you do really make plans on going short term trades then for sure you will do this kind of step but this is somehow risky thing to do because we wont really know if they would pump again or not and thats part of the risk.Its either you will end up on smiling or ending up as a bagholder of shitcoins its just like that.

Haha, trading is a lethal combo of happy moments and sick ones. We should keep in mind that no business is totally risk free and same is the case of bitcoins.
But I don’t think so we should quit trading by some failures. We should learn from our mistakes. Giving up on trading when the whole world is going after bitcoins, quitting trading is nonsense.

All people are different from each other and making such decisions cant really be avoided on those times when we do see already that we are losing funds while we are doing trading and for the situation of OP he just decide on the thing that he seems that it would be good to him.Quiting isnt bad and its our own choice but quitting early isnt really a good thing for us.

Great skill is required, if you suspect you do not have the skill you probably do not.
Sit on your coins in your own full node wallet. Create lots of backups paper included.

This is a good advise, don't force it if it is not for you because you will just lose more and more.
Just  buy and hold, most people are doing it and they are benefiting it now with the price of bitcoin increasing, it's the easiest method of making money and it does not require deeper knowledge in order to succeed, just trust bitcoin and you will be fine.

If we are continued to trust bitcoin I'm sure it will give a good profit for everyone. Spend it. I dont know what you are into, but there are lots of things you can buy with BTC directly. If not, you can still sell the BTC and buy with your local currency.

Just in case its not obvious: Not everything at once.

If you do not want to trade and you know you cannot earn out of it you could still hold it and wait until the price of your bitcoin pump then convert it. And spend it not directly rather with the used of fiat currency so it would be easy for you to spend it in your prefer thing. Also consider investing in some bitcoin related which can give you a possibility to earn more or to make profit out of the portion of your bitcoin. It is not bad to try new things for you to have a chance to earn.

Trading is difficult, and it is full of obstacles, so if you are gonna quit at the first loss, then you are not made for this.
When i started trading i had the same mistakes, but i stopped trading for a day or two so i could analize the market, then make an order and start taking profit again.

I have calculated all my trades on the various platforms i have used in the last couple years.

Deposited: 47BTC (roughly)

Withdrew: 40BTC (roughly)

Overall i am happy with the results, i would pay 7 BTC anyday for what i have learned so far.

Now the question is: what the fuck do i do now with my money.

If you lose your money to the trading, do not quit because it is only part of being a trader.

Yeah that's right that's why we are here worked hard as we live for another tomorrow, so if those past experiences will make us more mature as we for another challenges on our everyday lives, then face it and don't quit. Have you found out that where you did the mistake ? You went for buying with all your entire deposit, that must be very much foolish act. If you have spent only some 10% of your capital and buying some other coins with the rest of your capital then probably you do not need to leave off gambling right now.

Still I like to suggest you not to leave gambling because you can arrange some more little capital and try to trade multiple altcoins then you can find profitable trading.

If you have spent only some 10% of your capital and buying some other coins with the rest of your capital then probably you do not need to leave off gambling right now.

Yes, trading is always a neutral thing and we the traders are making mistakes and blaming that trading is not giving us enough and right opportunities to make use of it. there is nothing wrong in it that taking rest for a mean time. if you were sick of doing the same thing again and again so, it is better to take rest but i think in trading thing changes so, quickly. no one knows what happen next. the price of the coins changes so, quickly that after that you would think back that why i have not invested in it.

I am interested in the bolded in your post. But I guess your question was rhetorical. However, if truly you need an answer (an honest answer at that) from us here on what to do with your withdrawn 40btc, I will tell you two things:

1. Go buy Arsenal FC
2. Check my signature for my wallet address, if you don't mind.

Really, 7btc is a huge amount to lose with the current btc price.

It just takes a lot of patience to be able to recover some lost ones by waiting for the right time to sell them. Quit trading is not the right choice, investing in another good platform trying to get luck again.

I disagree, the op gave trading a fair chance and he was unable to make any profits it is time to move on, not everyone can be successful at every single thing, there are people that are natural traders and are going to become good at it, and there are people that are never going to get it so I think it was  a good decision to stop trading.
