put the remaining money to some ICO, or spread them on several. I think completely withdraw from the trade is not worth it.
Be careful with ICO's there are plenty of scam out there make sure you made all the research before investing. I prefer investing in bitcoin alone and those existing altcoins that has been around and has a real use.
You are right there are really lots of scam ICO out theres which we should really be aware on investing on them and we should really make some research first.Back into the topic i would say OP do really have a hard time on improving his trading skills which turn out that hes still on negative inspite on having long years of trading already.Quiting might be a valid reason if things doesnt really work out.
ICOs, bounty campaigns and airdrops are never recommended by me to any digital currency investor because I personally don't feel safe in them. I prefer signature campaigns over all other methods because it has no risk and the payment is a guaranteed one. It was due to this scam issue that China banned ICOs to keep the investors safe from any economic harm.

After 2 years of trading,  you lost 7 btc, Careful on scam ICO's, better you hold your btc, and wait for another opportunity to soar up, or learned from your mistake, moved on and start another chapter of your life.
There no way that scamming ICO won't occur because ICO is mostly the way of earning 2x,3x or more this days so scammer will use the advantage of that to steal from people. However, there are some precaution one must do in other not get scam and I bet the OP don't do that. Meanwhile,  Graft Network is the option for you to get back your lost.

So how do you feel now is a good time for trading? Or a good time has already passed. And in general, how to start trading? Where should I start?
The place to start to trade bitcoins is to look at some videos on youtube about trading, then read a few books about the subject, trading bitcoin is no different than trading forex, so read those books and finally, begin to practice in a platform you like, after some time you will be ready to begin to trade.
I have the same opinion regarding trading. Trading is dependent on numerous factors and it requires to keep eye on many things if you want to be successful in trading. I don’t like and suggest trading especially for collecting bitcoin.

If you have good market knowledge still without practice and experience you are nothing. Trading requires a lot of wisdom, you need to make right decisions at right time.
I agree, anyone can see in a graph when you should have invested, but doing it in real time is a completely different thing, most people simply do not have the instincts to become a trader, sometimes you need to take risks and many people are not able to take them and as such are terrible traders.

You could try to invest it on some other things. Buy some mining hardware or investing on some companies. It's a large money, you can make it grow larger with the right move. Or you could just spend it. I guess you have more money in your bank though.

I tried to trade (I mean, when you focusing on prices, technical analysis, current profit and so) and only lost some money. Hopefully gained almost equal amount on re-investing (technically still trading, but in long-term and only by well-known information and prediction). And I mean losses/gains in crypto itself. In fiat money that of course still big profit (actually almost equals to just holding BTC).

So, yeah, I'm too wondering how you people constantly make profit from trading, and even doubting is it for real or what.

if you start trying professionally, then you need to have a lot of opportunities and information. Knowledge determines your status and prospects. I have been working on the crypto exchange for a long time, but nevertheless I am still a beginner and work with small volumes. Probably I'm never a professional, because you need to have so many opportunities for this.

So guys, after 2 years of trading i am going to stop. (unless i have full time to trade, which i currently don't)

I have calculated all my trades on the various platforms i have used in the last couple years.

Deposited: 47BTC (roughly)

Withdrew: 40BTC (roughly)

Overall i am happy with the results, i would pay 7 BTC anyday for what i have learned so far.

Now the question is: what the fuck do i do now with my money.

Lessons well learned. Short term always lose some out to long term holding, across many asset classes. Especially new ones poised for growth such as this

If you don't have any experience in trading, especially when you don't have enough money to back it up then better not to trade it at all. It's better to hold it. Save up some extra money with your job, set an amount of investment that you're willing to lose, read some guide and learn from that.

Experience can be earn, all you need to have is money so you can trade but if you don't improve along the way that means you are not good in trading and the best way to do is to quit to cut your loses. Trading is one of the many ways where we can grow our money but if we do not have the necessary skills required to succeed, we better find another way to earn money.

I have quit trading also. I mean you are stressed all the time and a wrong entry can block you for weeks if not months. Better to buy and hold for x months. Eventually it will turn our way.

You not really need to quit trading because you lost your profit once. Try to hold your coins for a little bit longer till the value increase again. You can still work on campaigns while waiting for your coins to increase its value or rather build a mining hardware and earn coins passively while waiting for the market price to increase again.
Its depends bot all coins needs to hold some other you need to let go and buy more at much cheapper price. There are times that you need to stop but don't quit.
Quitting is not at all a good option as it is never appreciated to lose hope. You need to remain determined and keep on working hard. Quitting of trade is a good option but this will not help you in getting back what all you have lost. If you want to earn more money, then you need to remain motivated. Take a break and come again in trading with fresh mind.

I certainly will not do any more trading. Because I am very difficult economically right now, I am not psychologically good, it will take some time to recover the money I lost.

I could not agree more to take some break before trading again from a big trading lost. This is to free our mind from being disappointed. It is also a good way to think hard where did you go wrong on that previous trade and what you can do in the next trade - because we really either win or learn in traiding.

True that! We should not push our selves more if we think that we are being stress because of the effect trading gives us specially when we lose a lot of money. Taking a rest would help to freshen up our mind and maybe start again when you feel good.

You are right mate. Even in anything we do,  a deep breath and a little walk (getting yourself out of the situation for a time being) can most of the time do the trick but not true to all though. Trading is very stressful for those people who are using a huge amount of money and are so emotional - the solution is only invest with money you can afford to lose and don't get emotional.

Hold it or maybe invest in a gambling site and I do hope you didn't waste it. This is one of the living testimony that holding bitcoin is still the best way for having a great number of money. 40 bitcoins is a very large money. I hope this guy take the advice of other members to hold his coins. That was 2 years ago where bitcoin was too cheap, and now it multiplied almost 30 times.

After losing at every one of my trades, I got very discouraged too. So I went back to YouTube and watched and subscribed to every Crypto channel that I could, till I found one video that made sense to me, and then a few others with the same idea. There are sites that can monitor your trades, you upload text files of reports from the Exchanges like Coinbase and Bittrex, and they produce a nice summary of all your trade details, including all of the fees. The trouble is that you can easily get out of sync, because it's too fiddly to keep up to date. A much better way is just to create a very simple speadsheet - a Trading Plan Template with rows like this:

Name of Coin             ETH
Purchase Price           0.04908410
Fees 0.25%               0.00012271
Cost + Fees               0.04920681
Cost + Fees in USD     $284.43
Cost + Fees X 10%     0.00492086
Cost + Fees + 10%     0.05412749
7 % Stop Loss           0.04564821
Actual Sell Price         0.05612345
Profit/Loss                0.00691664
% Profit/Loss            14.06%
Profit/Loss in USD       $39.84

The most important thing about having a Trading Plan template is that it would take very little time to easily calculate your 7% Stop Loss price, so as soon as you complete the trade you'll be ready to place a 7 % Stop Loss sell order, hopefully, that way you can't lose more than 7% - my experience up till now has been that as soon as I complete a trade it I can't believe my eyes at the coin manages to dip again, below 7% before I can even react, because I wasn't prepared. Then of course you're eventually forced to put in a sell order, by now it's probably 10 % down, and by the time you get your order filled, you've now lost too much for your stomach to handle.

Then, about 12 hours after you sell the stock, it somehow gains life, and blows past your original purchase price with glee, that only makes it hurt more. Learning to trade cryptos is like learning to ride a bike, you'd better figure it out fast, or it's gonna be a like a skateboard scrape video, where all you see is red, and that's a bad movie. I am still healing, and it gives me some comfort that it's a common feeling.

If you make the Trading Plan Template in a large font, you can fill the 8 1/2 x 11 sheet, and the numbers are easier to fill in and read, and it makes it more likely that you will use this disciplined approach more often in your trades. Good Luck from another Crypto Trading 'student'.

Yes holding your coins is the best idea. not interested in investing in any other casinos then you can save it in your safe wallet and sell your coins when you needed money. 40 bitcoins if we convert it into the present price it is huge money you can settle your life. If I have this much bitcoins, i will stop working and start to enjoy my life with that money.

When I was a beginner, I very often left trading. Especially if I was losing a large amount. But I still returned back. This is a very good way to earn. Just need to be able to do it.

Since you touched the topic of trading. Can you give me or us some tips on how to do trading successfully, since evidently, you had a lot of success with it. Also, for starters like me, what is the best way to actually earn bitcoins faster except mining because I don't have the resources for it. If there are other means apart from campaigns, would you kindly share? Thanks.

ya trading is gambling for me even I read many topic teach trade skill or how to read chart ....

A lot of debates regarding on this topic but for me trading is still not a gambling because for me i do trading not because of money but because of my goal that i need to achieve, trading and gambling is really different because you are not playing by just luck in trading, you really have to work for it for you to make a big money. People who quit trading are those who loose money because of their emotion and lack of patience.
It depends, if you read several book, watch videos and practice our trading skills then you are not gambling and eventually you are going to make money, but if you trade based on your feelings or rumors then you are basically gambling with your money.

Very accurately noticed. I subscribe to every word. This is the first thing you need to know when meeting with any cryptocurrency. Even if it beckons you so - "buy me, I'm a new star."
