I don't have much ideas on professional skills of gambling but what I think is gambling for long run will be a dangerous to any one and they may lose more money in this process instead making money. So I think gamble for some times should be ok but not for long run. I do betting on sports and usually in cricket but not all cricket matches. I won more than 80% of my bets so for.

Yup! there is totally no such thing or anyone as professional when gambling, it is not even a professionalism nor there are no job as a gambler, but there are job in a casino like Gaming dealers, Surveillance officers, Gaming supervisors, Gaming managers, Locksmiths, Cage cashiers, Slot technicians, and a lot more etc..

Well maybe a long term gambler or people that gamble for a long time can considered as professional gambler. IMO professional gambler not means he can make profit everytime he do gambling. It's just that he knows every part and aspects of the one he gambled on.

And FYI, skills are quite required in some gambling type like sports bettings , poker etc.

Very true that pro's lose too.  The thing is Professinals usually have some sort of system, so when they do lose they quit and recoup and gather their money back.  The problem with most people is they don't know when to quit.

Agreed with you that gambling is not profitable in the long run. People can not win every time and sometime they will loose their money, if you make calculation of your profit and loss then the amount of loss in gambling will be more than what you have earned through out the gambling. People should play for fun not for the addiction.

yup, usually they have their own gambling tricks. and they dont really tell it to anyone. they just wan to keep the profit to themselves cuz if too many people know about this then the casino will do some changes and their method will be ruin.

Agree that poker game may make money because it is pvp game and not 100% luck-based game, but I think it will not work on blackjack since we play against the house.

Counting cards is still viable in certain casinos.  Granted it is highly frowned upon and could get you into trouble with the casino.  There are still professional black jack players that are able to do decent though.

Once in one million is roughly equivalent to never. I can not agree that as I have experienced with my own gambling when I keep on bet with small amount, I turn myself into profits. So, getting sustained with small bet will ensure a long term in gambling. Then you can make profits.
