We gotta stop using the word is not, or can't. We should be using the word, it is highly unlikely to profit from the casino in a long run sort of situation. The amount of people in the world should be enough to take over house edge.
I agree. There is a chance (or should I say there are chances even) when gambling is profitable in long term. But we should be aware of the fact that this chance is one in a million or maybe even less. Once in one million is roughly equivalent to never. I can not agree that as I have experienced with my own gambling when I keep on bet with small amount, I turn myself into profits. So, getting sustained with small bet will ensure a long term in gambling. Then you can make profits. The size of the bet doesn't have any outcome on the percentage of winning vs losing. You are still likely to lose even if you are playing with smaller coins. |

Depend on your skill and your luck in gambling. New gamblers without skill will lose their money in long term, even short period. There are some skilled gamblers who have their own skill and trick how to use their money for gambling.
yup, usually they have their own gambling tricks. and they dont really tell it to anyone. they just wan to keep the profit to themselves cuz if too many people know about this then the casino will do some changes and their method will be ruin. Sure and then this big winners of money don't know where to spend those big amounts of money won and make donations to the society of the failed gamblers, the society of less lucky then those gamblers, the society of depressed gamblers, the society of happy gamblers (even they lose always in gambling) the society of the gamblers who don't know any trick to win money in gambling, the society of of the gamblers who are unable to find or learn strategies how to win in gambling and to to many other societies connected with the gamblers.  |

People who gamble to make money don't make a lot of sense to me - at least not people who drop coins into random dice games. You'd be much better off investing in something like a sportsbet or something like that. I prefer those sort of odds as you can make more of an informed decision regarding likelihood. Still, it's up to the individual - and risk is required to attain some of the better things in life, but I don't subscribe to the belief that gambling is profitable long term. I know people who win thousands on greyhounds and horses, but they also spend hours researching and studying their sport. Knowledge is vital.

I disagree with this. If chances are one in a million they are small, yes, but it is still possible.

I don't see people nowadays suggesting gambling to make money. What I see are people doing gambling even no one told them to do so hoping for a big fish. |

I think he meant +EV games when he mentioned long term , cause long term profit will never happen when playing -EV games like if you have 0.5% edge you will make money in the long term no matter what you daily results are |
