That is true. In gambling one try to make profits every day most likely they will lose all their money at the end because gambling need a luck but luck comes some times only. So if one want a long term profits then they must invest money in like share market or gold or in real estate to make profits over the time.

Yes luck takes the most important part on gambling, but you need to be wise on gambling by choosing the appropriate game for yourself.

Actually gambling cannot be more profitable compared to real business.
But sometimes (in short-term) sport betting maybe can give some small profit, and when people start to think they can earn profit from gambling.
Then they got trapped.

In long term, gambling is unprofitable for gamblers as the gamblers as a whole have to pay the services provided by casino. Casinos have a house edge against the gamblers as they have to make a profit. This is not different from other industry. We pay to watch film, to play in the Disney parks. So gambling is not profitable for gamblers in long term.

People do well on sports betting and can make a living.  There is a guy who made the WSOP final table this year who was originally a poker professional but was making more from sports betting so he quit poker full time for that.

First of all Im not saying that you do sports bet for a long term. The key here is to make profit whenever you bet in sports betting. You are right gambling really guaranteed to make you profit for a long term and it's stated million times here in this thread.

I will gave you an example ; like in NBA today ; I will pick GSW as an example playing against NJ. That's a 90% winning rate for GSW. 10% is for losing rate. You will have low odds here for GSW so my strategy is to bet high for GSW. Chances of winnings here is high but you will have a small profit. At least a profit.

agree with you and in fact only the lucky person can playing long term but not sure they can survive, because when you spend a lot of time for gamble. you will face situation confused and you will lose when you confused or bored. " lucky is not always long time at your side"

Since some of the sport events are arranged, no analyzations or qualitative opinions will help you to predict the result of a game in those cases. So IMO sports betting is not better than any other.
