The house edge isn't really not against you it is just a coincidence that you really lose in your bet, the house edge is just there to the balance the people that are winning and losing and I think they would just keep on randomly choose people that will lose on the bet and win in the bet, they are not choosing it is in random selection that is why if you are so lucky and always keeps on winning a tendency of you will end up in a sudden lost is because of they are balancing it so they would still profit.
