Well the whole premises is that you can become profitable if you gamble long enough to gain some skills HOWEVER the longer you gamble the more the house edge will be against you, so you need to set bets with different sizes.

In general, I don't think gambling can be profitable in the long run. The odds are against us, so in the long run you will probably lose money unless you play a game like poker with real people and you are very skilled.
This the only way, that I know, to win in a casino, is to play a game that requires skill: sport betting or poker can be done online, and if you want to do it in a real life casino the previous two methods work and also you can try black jack (counting cards), craps (dice control) and roulette (probabilistic analysis) |

its depends what do you play in gambling, if playing on sport betting can be profitable in the long term
if do you have a knowledge about the soccer.
Yeah sport betting is really good for earning in a long term but you need to be able to gather good information and of course you need a lot of experience to get a good profit. Without those things you wont make it for sure, moreover they have so many options which can make you confuse about everything |

No. Most of the rich guys are winning a lot in the beginning (like $100M) and then are risking smaller amounts ($1M, $500k). $4M would be enough to live off a luxury life with $1M of it spent only on a house & a supercar.

Only if you can win the jackpot in your first session of play. You can be profitable in the long term as you don't need to gamble anymore when you win a robust jackpot worth millions of dollars. Yup! what you have said is all true, a gambler would not benefit much but only the owner of these gambling sites are pretty much will benefit that is why instead of playing gambling why not find a suitable business you can rely on and focus on that you might learn from it and make a good profit out of it, a plus benefit will be if the business is a thing that you really want the most.
It depends on what type of gambling you are playing. Your thoughts can be applied to those house edge games and that is really obvious. But if you will gamble on sports betting, things might come on a different way as there is no such thing you won't be able to make a long term profit in sports betting even you use the old classic style of martingale system of betting. Not everyone can make gambling profitable. if we see the number difference how many make profit and how many people loose that will be surprising and you will not think same anymore. Who the hell will think that one can make income thru gambling. The right term for that is profit but of course it is not for a long term but you can take a profit everytime you do a bet. It's possible. Just don't chase the loss. More people get loss instead of win, that's how gambling works. There are some people who makes good profits by doing gambling for sure. But not in long term, it just sometimes and you need some skills, knowledge and experiences, don't play game depends on luck. Poker, blackjack or sports betting are good to makes some profits.
