Can gambling be profitable in long term ?

On casino games I don't think it is really profitable in long term as the small house edge will be the one to prevail long term. Same with sports betting as it has higher house edge technically. Still everything depends on luck so maybe some people gain decent profits.

I think it depends on luck / fate owned by each person. If having always goodly luck, at long-term gambling is not a problem and will be profitable each playing, but if having a bad luck play in the long term it will be very very harmful. And i think in every gamblers there are days where those days can be called a day of luck and day with no luck. Must be able to control themselves well.

There's no long term luck in gambling, it is just passing by when you already have it. And it will come back to you without any idea on when it will. The only way to make gambling profitable is to invest and be part of the casino or be an employed chat support or dealer there.

I disagree with that. I believe that we can rely on bitcoin for a long term to make us rich, what we can't rely is on playing gambling. Some of my friends have been members of this forum for years and I can guarantee that they have already saved money and have already put up a business. Actually, they are the ones who encouraged me to join this forum and to earn bitcoin by joining signature campaigns and altcoins.

Using bitcoin for gambling is a total waste of money because gambling does not guarantee any profit even playing for a long run. It will be much better to use our money for investing other than gambling.

but i think now bitcoin traders and investors have become so much mature and  they are mostly holding their bitcoin in panic situation. and the current situation is the best example of that, most of the investors are not selling their bitcoin and are trying to hold it for the future i am sure that in furture people will become more mature and will become good bitcon and altcoin traders.

but it still few gamblers that can control themselves in gambling games because I have seen many times, when someone winning the games, he is attracted to continue playing without he can realize that its only makes him lose in the next games. when he decide to playing gambling for a long term, he risk his money without any guarantee for him to make big winning or at least makes much of money.

Well everything comes with a risk and there are nothing in this world that is risk free for sure. It is not a guarantee but mathematically it is the best way of making money in the long term. There is no guarantee but atleast your chances are so much better than just gambling. Well we cannot be so sure that by just following the rules and be discipline we are going to win 50-100$ a day. What if we are not lucky enough on that day or within the three consecutive days that we play and we lose all the money allotted in playing? Then we cannot make that 50-100$ a day.

The real profit but if you want instant money, I think you could get it in a casino. It also depends on the part where you use different types of settings. In dice you could set a 90% chance of win rate meaning, in probably a thousand rolls/bets that you are going to make, 100 of it would probably lose and the 90% would win. Generally, that's how it should be but knowing that casinos have an edge, it might cause more problems to you more than you think.

the problem are in long term everything required a consistency .

and gambling are not something that easy to control and earn profit steady . the house edge always have bigger chance to make it happened rather than you as a player. that is the fact that have been discussed since long time ago and everybody agree about that i guess.

Agree gambling was made long time ago for entertainment and not to be the source of insant money. Its how the business owners advertise their gambling sites and casino that makes everyone want to gamble, like how they put big amount of jackpot prize and as a human being we all want to try our luck in any kind of way just to get money.
