TBH, I don't have any idle coins. I trade them for fiat, and trade the fiat for coins. And then I repeat. If I really want to, I'll spend some of my profits on video games, or beefing up my gaming rig <3

But honestly, having idle coins is a waste. You have to use your coins 24/7.

looking for a signature campaign, dm me for that

I agree. The whole cycle is similar to forex. I am exploring APIs of site exchanges to see how I could grow more coins through trading

I hold most of my coins. Invest some in bitcoin "banks" such Haobtc. Then buying some goods with the newly mined coins as I mine as well.

I'm still cautious putting in anything more than 1 BTC into these "banks". I actually put some coins in BW.com and Ore-Mine.org. I wanted to try https://magnr.com but I read some negative experiences. Hmmmm

I keep a bunch in cold storage and buy cloud mining contracts with the ones in my hot wallet.
If I really have a surplus, I go solo mining with a rented rig Smiley

And sometimes gambling, not too much though.

I tried some dice games recently, haha. It was fun. I allocated 0.1 just to try it. In a few hours, I "grew it" to 0.27. But i lost all in the next few minutes. ROFL.

I came to realise that investing in these dice sites through investment option (not gambling) is worth while Cheesy

Im sitting on them and trying to get as much Bitcoin as possible before it goes to 4 figures again and making 1 BTC a month is impossible unless you are rich. Right now is somewhat doable if have a good salary, but once we break the 1k barrier again we are going to see a lot of people going mad that they didn't stack up on as much BTC as possible monthly, im trying to anticipate and do it while it's still cheap.

I placed some Bitcoins in Moneypot to invest in the bankroll and it has been working rather well for me. I placed the other parts of my Bitcoin storage into my lending service at the lending section. It's better than placing my Bitcoin at the wallet for a few months.

Nope. But I didn't really invest for a long term either. I have always made a profit when I invest, just like now.

But well, the house edge would always even out the losses so I'm not afraid either.

No need to invest with Bitcoin. Because Bitcoin itself is an investment.

You need to do investment with fiat cash, because it is not protected against inflation. So if you don't invest, your net worth will go down year after year. On the other hand, Bitcoin is protected against inflation, due to the limited supply mechanism.

Mine stay in online vault with 48 hour waiting period to remove along with several verifications.  Feels pretty safe at this point.

I love Bitcoin

Interesting topic.
Indeed, I have seen as many users bought heaps LTC and sit with them, instead of what would have to use their investments more wisely.
But I'm sure that soon will change on this market and opinion  the investors will also vary.
So who is closely monitoring this crypto market, has all chances to become a wealthy man  Wink

Buying alt coin with my idle coins was suggested by my friends but I was not ready to take risk on investing in alt coins. I prefer to stay with my bitcoins itself. Because I believe in bitcoin more than any other cryptocurrency.

I guess you are missing the opportunities every other crypro-coiners are enjoying from alt coins. I would like to suggest you to split your investment into many small parts and invest into alt coins some 2% to 5%. It may give you some big returns even you take a little risk.

Nothing, I just let them sit there and let them rest until I need them again. I have a separate stack of coins which I use for several investment, but the bulk of my stash are in a paper wallet that I keep dearly and lovingly. Smiley

they lose value quite fast(diamond last time i checked was 200k now below 100), so i would not really recommend them, and in the best case you would earn few pennies

not worth the effort
