I was wondering if people invest or hold their idle coins besides me. It is actually a great way to grow them without doing anything.

Yes the price will gonna rise to 1000$ midyear 2016. Maybe it will not be for a long time but surely it will. So the best thing for now is to keep the coins save for few months and then sell them for a double price.

Lol, everyone is hoping for the 1000$ for years already... Not going to happen...

Keep the majority safe in cold storage and just use my active address coins whenever I need to use them.

Me. A large portion of my holdings goes into cold storage, while the remaining portion is what I use to invest and buy stuff online. Also, I have a separate holding for short term gains apart from the long term stash I already have.

For me there is no such thing as idle coins. I collect all of them, even tens of thousands of satoshies, and I hope I will have 1 whole Bitcoin soon. The price of Bitcoin is rising with time so who knows maybe one day those tens of thousands of satoshies will become tens of thousands of dollars one day. )

If I'm honest I just hold them for the profit, so I do nothing with them till the price raises.
So my idle bitcoins are just in my other wallet save and well, not used and be patient.

I just hold my idle coins for the price that will rise at the end of this year, I'm pretty sure about that.
Sometimes I also buy things with it if my normal wallet doesn't have enough coins available.

Your Bitcoins effectively "earn interest" just sitting there because with fiat they print money. The interest is only to offset the amount being printed.

I don't see any other option than to HODL as the fiat world hopefully crumbles around us.

yeah sometimes we are confused for maximizing revenue from coins unemployed. rather than confused. we better make trades to another currency or altcoin. or if you do not have these skills, better hold it.

I think its impossible dude to rise $1000 on this year. i doubt about it. because no sign and no big issue

I pray to God you would be wrong. Halving is not just a simple event, it is the core change in the supply and demand cycle. So, definitely we would be seeing more positive consequences than what we are expecting with this upcoming halving.

what i have come to like out of all different investment methods is trading altcoins. i have always only invested as much as i could afford to lose and so far i was lucky and i did not lose more than my profit so i am happy with my decisions.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

Lots of things we can do with idle coins. It depend up to you. If I have idle coin than I'll store them and wait for bitcoin price increase and one more thing that we can gamble our idle coin. Most of gambling sites have very low minimum deposit option. We can fund our idle coins to get deposit bonus to gamble more and safely.
