What do you do with your idle coins?

My coins are all in idle right now, because its just few and I am still thinking on where to put it as an investment, but I definitely don't want to put it in ponzis, I'd rather keep it in wallet than invest it on them..

I am just holding it at a moment, rather then thinking of spending it, as the price is not up to the my expectation level, so will start spending when the price would be much higher in future.

actually better holding rather than looking for investments that have not been clearly legit or not. precisely plan that will make the defeat less mature. if you have not got a plan. better hold

But I do not prefer all my bitcoin to sleep ideally. I spit them 50-50 percent, the first of goes working for me in terms of investments. The second half waiting for price appreciations ie I hold them ideally and intentionally.

This is a very nice idea splitting our ideal bitcoins to get most benefits of bitcoin ecosystem by taking a calculated risk. Thanks for idea I'm going to follow it. I feel keeping all the coins idle, will diminish the chances of getting rich. So, taking 50% risk is highly affordable for me.

You can also just hold them for the halving that is coming this year because the halving will help the bitcoin for sure.
If the halving has been done you can make big bucks for sure, the price will jump because of the halving.

What I do with my idle coins is pretty simple, I'm just holding them in a cold storage and that all for any price increases.
Its even going so far I do not spend any bitcoin anymore these days because I want to make profit with all my bitcoins that I bought lately.

i shop for it on the regular basis and i never have any losses because of bitcoins going down simply because i dont have too much of it

Yeah, trading would be the best, but it needs skill, and knowledge on when to buy or when to sell your coins, otherwise you will do buying and selling in reverse or you won't profit from it, investing it in investment sites I think is not a good idea, most of them run when they already accumulated big amount from investments..

Well, after it's confirmed that the engine has warmed up a bit, I adjust the chains and put 'em in drive, then cruise 'em around the block to show 'em off to the neighbors.

trading (like any other investment) has a lot of risks. from obvious risks like price going down, to bigger ones like exchanger running away (mtgox, bter, cryptsy,...)

cloudmining services are mostly ponzi scam or not profitable with terrible ROI.
and gambling is not even an investment. it is pure risk, which will most probably end up losing all your money.

I agree. I would rather go for bitcoin now it is much easier to get and faster to get some profit with the increased price. We have our own opinion though, if you are more knowledgeable in gold then gold it is for you. Yes gold have a good price now. It is really going up for like a 100 dollars in  a month but until when and will it move like that again in the future.

Bitcoin investment is quite good for taking profits quite fast due to high price fluctuation and also it is risky because price can go low quite fast also. But gold moves very slow and grow also very slow, so it is good for people who want to take less risks.

Gold has been bought and sold for centuries. It has a proven track record of value and I don't think Bitcoin is much better than gold to be honest. Yes gold is bulky to move around but its value will not drop overnight like Bitcoin.

I am hoping one day I can build a house with them but that will take time and effort on my part. I think we should not only hoard bitcoins but we should circulate them too so lay people know they can do something else with them as well as save them, but that's just my 2 bits.

I use my idle as a holding way of money in bitcoin, I consider this as one of the best ways to deal with bitcoin in general since the market can bring profit even if you are just holding your coins... Investments like HYIP's etc... are not investments at all.

I keep my idle coins in a different wallet waiting for a price increase that may be coming on soon,
IMO with the halving coming and than we all can make profit by it, so I'm just being lazy with idle coins.
