Do you agree people barrow money for gambling?

Did someone here watched the film "The Gambler". That's a good example of how far he will go to gamble for his own addiction.

But look at what happened to him. The places he can go is limited because of fear. And after you gamble and lose the money that you borrowed. What's next? It will all be stress and you will think to much of how you can gamble again.

to be honest i've tried this before , i borrowed btc from a friend as a lose all my bankroll and hoping to recover my loss from the btc i borrowed. but unfortunately end up losing it all, anyways i had fine so its a bit fine i have a job in real life so i was able to repay it successfull. thus i do agree with it but just make sure you can guarantee repayment to the lender or else you'll be fucked up

This upside down with my story, it was my friend who always borrow BTC to me for gambling and he always lost, so that until now he had never paid him. but he gave assurances account of this forum, but I do not want to, because he could not get bitcoin of the signature campaign, if the account belongs to me.

your friend must be really unfortunate for losing always. does he still gamble until now? if he does, he should stop right now because it won't be good for him anymore. i think it is safe to say that he's really addicted to gambling, and you should help him by not lending him btc anymore.

Borrowing, Loaning, and Lending. in this circumsances when someone asked you about this? A lot of feelings and thoughts probably hit you all at once: an urge to be helpful to someone, concern about getting repaid, and possibly even questions about the laws regarding the loan.
There are certain things one must do to approve it when borrowing, loaning or lending

* If the one borrowing is personal or you known personally,

Trust is the most important aspect in everything you do without this He must file an application or a transaction paper that has a witness or filed by
an attorney so if he can't afford to pay for the said amount will have a punishment of increase of interest.

* If the borrower is online or loaning here in bitcointalk always look for the borrowers rank if it is newbie level do not make transaction, and see if he has positive trust or a negative trust indicate in him.

He should stop gambling if he is loosing all the time, you should convince him to stay away from gambling if he has no plan or certain strategy in gambling. i would  like to advice that ask him to follow sports betting which is almost safe, if you have enough knowledge of any particular sport then you have all the chance to predict the result of the match.

That is really bad decision to play with borrow why we need to put on risk relations, i think so that is more worst situation if are get addicted of gambling like this we should need a break for a long time and think about this habit more seriously and deeply.

Whats the point of playing with play money? People want to do gamble to earn, if they dont have profit what is the point of gambling then? That is just wasting time. Some people borrow money not because they dont have it, it could be they dont have btc right now and their currency is stuck so they ask for some loan to play it for a while

well, if gambler reach that situations to borrow to gamble, i would say even collateral also need to be careful. he may double spend his collateral or unable to pay back or run away etc.

As per your point of view is correct. But if borrower lost that bet means he also that collateral as well so he/she may be in deep trouble after the loss.

Of course I need to be carefull in accepting the collateral and we must hire escow to protect us to and avoid scammer.

Yes the barrower will be in trouble if he loose both the money he barrow and the collateral,, not advisable to barrow for gambling either you have collateral still risky.

Hire an escrow to escrow your fund doesnt guarantee you will get back what you lend, because some people still runaway with lending money. He just need to make a new account and start to scam people again. Although he give you his id may be it can be fake. So it is pretty risky to lend some people money that you dont even know

I do "Gambling for fun", for me it is not wasting time as you said because when I only play when I want and when a person like me says that just gambling for fun means that I have no certain expected profit. For me, profit is just like a positive effect from gambling

Its doesn't matter if its for purchasing stocks or for gambling. The problem is both are high risk and the chance of losing the money is very high so you would have to be very stupid to loan someone money for that.

Well if you dont really need money that much maybe it will be fun. But if you are broke and borrowed some money and need to pay. It will not be fun, more like a watching an intense movie where your heart pumps fast while taking the bet.

I don't agree with loaning people money if you know they're going to gamble with it. It's morally wrong but I'm sure most lenders don't care. Personally I wouldn't do it because I guess I'm a soft bastard

it depends on the amount, but the collateral damn sure should be somewhat equal what youre lending lol.

if not youre asking to be screwed over.

Of course it fair must be equal the collateral  they get on me. The point of there is I  can sell there collateral so im not get lose my money if the barrower loose in gambling.

keep in mind though, not all collateral can be easily sold.

and it can be a pain.. like if they gave alt coins that went bad or other related things that can turn bad quick in value.

Some gambling give you a starting money. But why do they give them? because they know that you will lose. But they also know that there could be a possibility that you will be investing or will borrow some money to play some more because you felt that you can win the game.

barrow money just to lose it in gambling.
since when you gamble you often lose than win.
and after that, how will you pay for your loan when you lose?
its just helping the gamblers lose more their money.
well for some people they do this to make money.
but its very few of them that success to this.
