S. Williams after 186 weeks, almost four years!, lost the first position in  world ranking. Decisive unexpected defeat against Pliskova.
A. Kerber will be the next n.1 of rank Wta.

It is about time she lose this rank, she hasnt really been a great tennis player anymore. She is great however she has past her moment and now this is the time for another player to shine. Nothing wrong with this and this doesnt mean that she needs to retire but she should be giving chances for the others to shine

Well it's not the first time this happens. She lost her rank in the passed and then came back better than ever. Not sure if she can do it again, since she is of course getting older, but I don't think she will retire yet.
I don't think she is getting weaker and weaker , she is still one of the most dangerous aggressive player in women's tennis . Just that more and more stronger competitors are getting into tennis ( which is great ) . I believe that Williams will be back to the top spot soon .
Also hearty congrats to Kerber , she deserves the number 1 spot .

Yeah,I also believe that the new tennis players will eventually replace the more experienced ones which are at the end of their careers so we'll be seeing many new champions from now on

Not only in women's competition but Men's game also we are seeing many young players, the recent US Open we got two young champions. So in coming series also this may repeat. So the old players are heading to retirement. My suggestion is this is a good time to take retirement for those who are in severe form. If they continue this flop way in one day, they will lose there all fans.

Haven't heard about both players much . Also Women's tennis prediction is very hard nowadays , its almost like 50/50 chance always . I will go with you and try my luck this time . Thanks for sharing this Smiley .

"The Indian players will play in front of their crowd with conditions they chose. And in Davis Cup, special things can happen. It has happened in the past. We lost a couple of confrontations (contest) that we believed we were favourites and were in good position. There is respect for India, they have good players, good double team," this is what Nadal said , very happy to hear this .

Yes, this is break time for all senior players. They are tired with back to back series. So let's take some rest. Because of this rush tournaments, the top players are not performing up to the mark. So the young players are using this situation, and they are shining now. Anyway, this is a good sin to a tennis game.

Yup but I don't think it matters much in tennis nowadays . Look at pouillie , who defeated Nadal in 5 setter although he played 5 sets in his previous two matches . Also , Djokovic who as rested very well in the entire tournament , couldn't defeat Wawrinka in finals . Its more of mental strength than physical strength nowadays.

Davis Cup 2016, India vs. Spain. India loses both their singles contest on the opening day to concede a 0-2 lead to Spain in Davis Cup. Indian player Ramkumar Ramanathan showed to come back play in the 3ed set but in 4th set he surrender to Feliciano Lopez. Second game Saketh Myneni lost the contest in straight sets against David Ferrer.
Yup, it was big to lost for India. The icon player Nadal did not play the match, But Indian players missed to use this chance. It was one side games boring. And today Again Spain won in a doubles competition. Nadal-Lopez beat Paes-Myneni. Finally, the Indian crowd enjoyed the Nadal play. But bad luck their home players failed to win this game.

Leander Paes and Saketh Myneni went down fighting to Rafael Nadal and Marc Lopez in the doubles. His visitors won the match by 6-4, 6-7 (2), 4-6, 4-6. After winning the first set and 2nd set strong tie-break I thought India would win, but unfortunately, Spain won the match. And They Seal Play-Off Victory With Doubles Win.
