It is an intense match. It looked like Djoker was going to take it with 5-3 in the third set but now Muarry is creating pressure for him and making it 40-0 in the 5-4. Who knows who will win this one. Come on NOLE! Watch match rest of match here if you want: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCuMLUgc4xA Actually Djokovic played relatively well in that match ( if someone doesn't know he has won the match ) if you see and compare with the match he played against Verdasco then you will find that Djokovic played terrible and at a time Verdasco had 5 match points. Anyways hope he has a terrific 2017 as he has started great already. I agree , he didn't loose his cool in the third set and played very well compared to his previous matches . He would have won it in second set but Murray didn't give up and played brilliant aggressive tennis during Djo serve . It was an entertaining , interesting match.

I am looking forward to the match between Bouchard and Johanna Konta because both the players on their best day can upset anyone. I hope Bouchard defeats her opponent because winning the APIA tournament will give a good boost to her in Australia open.

Great fight between Brown and Baghdatis . Great comeback by Baghdatis , brown gave his all but Bagh managed to come back from behind and win this one . Sock v Ryan is about to start , Ryan has a big serve and aggressive forehand but I will stick with Sock to win this match.
Wasn't able to watch that one. I really liked the game from João Sousa though. I think he has a consistent game, I still remember his game vs Del Potro on the Olympics, and I became a "fan" after that game. I want to see how he deals with Robin Haase now in the quarter finals. I watched a lot Joao Sousa playing on TV, all I can say is don't expect too much from him, trust me. His past game statistic is not as consistent as you think, he can be good and sometimes he can be such a loser. He is easy frustrating man, when he make some stupid mistake he will starting to smash his racquet, just unprofessional, that racquet is so expensive, waste of resources. Just my opinion, nothing personal. Yeah I agree with the inconsistency of Joao Souza. He plays as good as Murray(once in a blue moon) sometimes but that is really rare. His game is all about running around and making shots which he does well but, when it comes to attacking or offensive play, he makes useless errors. I generally dont bet on or against him unless he's playing against top 10 players and im sure that he'll lose. He is a bit like Benoit Paire who is extremely talented but once gets off mood then gets totally wrong. It is like they are kids who once get upset cannot survive the burden, I hardly ever bet on such players because they are just too unstable and the odds also on such players are not too high.

Well schedule for first gland slam is posted on official page from them. This will be very interesting in several ways first Djokovic will play with Verdasco in R1, it thing go well and all favorites pass then he would play in next order R2 Istomin, R3 Carreno, R4 Dimitrov, QF Thiem, SF Raonic or Nadal and F Murray/Federer (placed Federer here cuz he didnt play half of last year and we dont know in what shape he is).
This is my view on this also predict some QF matches think this will be great if comes like this
Murray v Nishikori Wawrinka v Cilic Monfils v Raonic Thiem v Djokovic
Didnt placed Federer here cuz if he lose then this would be list in that case.

I agree with you, but you can add some alternatives: Murray vs Federer/Nishikori Wawrinka/Kyrgios vs Tsonga/Cilic Monfils/Nadal vs Raonic Thiem vs Djokovic

He is in great form and I am sure he will make it to semi finals this time . Can't say about Federer though , he may or may not make it to quaterfinals . Thiem is a fantastic player no doubt but he fails sometimes to win against weak players or below average players so can't really count him in.

Can't remember when was the last time we had this much interesting tournament. This one will be to remember by and maybe we will have other winner. Also after long time think that old big 4 might do the magic but it will take lot of work

Today is so quite in tennis sportsbook because most of the tennis players, fans and gamblers (including me) are waiting for tomorrow year start stunner, Australia Open! I already have some clue about who that I'm gonna put on in tomorrow first game day. The competition is so tied, everyone can win the grandslam, that's what I always want to see.

Yea i think so to. First gland slam of season from what i have read most players are not happy with extreme heat and weather cast say it will be around 40 in air which mean over 45 on court. That is really extreme for them men and woman so maybe we will see many medical time out cuz of this.

In the first day of the Australian Open win, almost, all the favorites but they have risked a lot: Wawrinka, Cilic and Nishikori who won the fifth set.
Instead everything easy for Murray and Kyrgios which easily won 3-0
Bad defeat for Pouille (16th seeded) who loses out against qualified Bublik (+200th ranking atp).

Very easy wins for Murray and Kyrgios they both dominate their opponents and have easy wins. Wawrinka have a tough match going to 5 sets but he good enough to win and even Federer played 4 sets and won. It was a good first day play and I watch again for today and hope it is good like yesterday.

Yeah they were both very easy wins and in the Kyrgios match it looked like it would end in under 1 hour as Kyrgios was on fire winning the 1st set in just 19 minutes and he would of won the 2nd set in around the same time if it wasn't for his nose bleed which took at around 7 minutes. That was a reat display of tennis from both Murray and Kyrgios and that is what we can expect from the good players. I am looking forward to today's action to see Nadal and Raonic and also Serena Williams is playing.

A few upsets on the first day of Australian Open. Starting off in the WTA: Simona Halep had some nagging knee injury and wasnt able to cope the pressure that was put by Shelby Rogers. I expected big things from Kasatkina but she lost to the tall Chinese Shuai Peng. Lauren Davis was in good form coming into the tourney but she lost the match after winning the first set to the compatriot Samantha Crawford. In ATP, Aljaz Bedene continues to disappoint in big tourneys after losing to Victor Estrella. Lucas Poullie who beat Nadal in the US Open, Lost to qualifier Bublik in 4 sets. Hopefully lesser upsets in day two, Starting in a few hours.

Watch Roger Federer match versus J. Melzer in Day 1, i don't think this is the best performance from Federer even He can win the match but He can't win the tournament with this performance. Wawrinka and Nishikori need to play 5 set to win the game not a good result but at least they win the game

Even today Have Won All the big favorites. Easy victories for Ferrer, Raonic, Dimitrov, Nadal and Djokovic, all with the result 3-0. Karlovic won his infinite match in 5:22. The record for the longest match of Australian Open is the 2012 (epic final between Nadal and djokovic 5:53)

Yeah it was another great day for the top players in the Men's draw all winning easily in 3 sets. Yeah I remember this final as I stayed up to watch the whole match which finished around 2:00 am and I had work later on lol so I only had a few hours sleep but it was worth it as that was one epic final and one of the best in history. I look forward to seeing Nick Kyrgios and Roger Federer playing later today.

The Australia players have really knock me out, for the last 2 day I put my trust on them, then they disappointed me, Sam Groth in the first day and Samantha Stosur in the second day. Especially Stosur, she should be the biggest hope in WTA for the Australia, yet she been kicked in the 1st round, she wasn't even trying in the third set against Heather Watson.
