Federer took the 3rd set without difficulty by taking 3-0 in the 6-2 game and finished in the semifinals just like last year. We saw the passing shot of FedEx over the match. Now the rival Stan.

Stan v Federer will be very interesting  , according to me if Federer plays the same aggressive game like he played again Zverev then he can beat Wawrinka easily . We may witness Federer v Nadal in the final .

You could be right on final and to be honest I will go for it think that Federer will win that one.

I agree with you on this, if Federer plays like he just did against Zverev then I think he can beat Wawrinka but I do believe it will be a close match and could go to 5 sets. It's shaping up to be a Federer/Nadal final which would be great to see, two of the best players ever playing once again in a Grand Slam final. I think most tennis fans want to see this and are hoping for this to happen and it may well just happen with the way both players are playing at the moment. It's just like the old days.

Karolina Pliskova wins the 2nd set 6-3 and is now leading 4-3 in the 3rd. Lucic-Baroni seems to have injured her Hamstring. It sucks that soo many players had to bow out due to injury. Tennis has become equal parts talent+form and fitness on that particular day. So many players had been playing better than the opposition but coz of injury concerns had to step back during this Australian Open. The other name I could think off was Istomin. He was playing way better than Dimitrov but the injury to his legs limited his movement and couldnt do much about it. Would have been winning in 4 sets. Instead, lost in 4.

Lucic-Baroni had more aces than Pliskova. Not often that it happens that a player hits more aces and winners while playing against Pliskova. I think Pliskova leads last year WTA for most aces in the season.

First game my choice is Dimitrov may win this match, second game it is an unpredictable game both players are in the same form, and Nadal is not playing well in knockout games, we can take a chance in this game to place a bet on Raonic the odds good, and he can win this game. Women's I don't have any choice except S Williams let's see who all will win today.

Was a really good match for Nadal and he just blazed past Raonic who is world no. 3. Dimitrov is in really good form and will be a really tough test for Nadal. If he gets through. these four players have won all 3-0 in their quarter-final! these Australian Open there have been many surprises.
I think that no one expected to see Nadal, Federer and Dimitrov in the semifinals and finally these three players will climb many positions in the ATP rankings.

Wawrinka is not the weak him any more after he beated Djokovic on french open and us open, he is a super player, one of top 5 best players, remember he 3-0 against PRoger Federer in Rolland Garros? I go for Stan for higher odds.
