Bank or Bitcoin Wallet?

I would only bother with banks when dealing with fiat because basically there isn't any other way to do it. Sure you can buy a robust safe and get your cash stored on there but seriously what's the point, when you need to buy something you are going to need to have it in your bank account anyway, unless you buy everything locally which is very limiting.

Both for now. In future depends from situation, I think we need both now. Some things I can do with bank I cant do with btc and opposite. I would like to use just bitcoins for everything but who knows when will that be possible. Not in some near future for sure.
I dont think bank wish to solve anything, they are using this mess to make more and more profit for them. They will try to do something with blockchain tech. this is future, will they go with btc or some other (maybe they will make new one) is yet to be seen, but I bet they will do something I`m curious to see what.

Ofcourse Wallet > Bank.. but we need it yet.

to be honest, I prefer the bitcoin wallet than the bank, the reason being the usefulness of bitcoin wallet is more simple than the bank, and how to make it easier to make bitcoin wallet because it does not require detailed identity, while banks require detailed identity

The wallet is better since you are in control of your own bitcoins. No third party which you need to ask permission to use your own money.
If you encrypt it and safely handle the wallet, there is no risk and in a way it's safer then your bank account.

at this time we need both of them ,
but in future if bitcoin succes maybe we will can use bitcoin anywhere, and we do not need a bank because bitcoin can handle transaction

In the future there will be people that still want someone to take care of their own wealth so I see services like Xapo playing a huge role as Bitcoin gets more and more mainstream.

I understand your point...but you also need to understand that Bitcoin is limited...Paper money is linked with gold mostly and govt. can print paper money accordingly. But bitcoin will soon become antique and highly valued..paper money will remain active.

I think this is because right now Bitcoin is still at is infancy. Just give it a couple of more years and it would become a mainstream cryptocurrency and replace banks as well. It is just not the right time yet. That is why it is necessary to have both (bank and Bitcoin) accounts as you would need to buy Bitcoins with your bank account or viceversa. It will also serve as a great way for cashing out your BTC into fiat in your bank account. Just my opinion. Wink

I do not agree with doing this. Holding all your money in the bank allows everyone to see what you are spending your money on and why. I do not like someone being able to look over everything I do in my life. If I want to go the the sex toy store and buy the biggest toy I can buy (just an example), i do not want to be judged and in my opinion, that is all banks offer.

Holding money in the bank doesn't allow everybody to see it.
Only the bank employees can see and I doubt if they care if you are buying sex toys.

The blockchain on the other hand is transparent.

Bank is better than bitcoin wallet untill this time. We have to use both of them because we still use paper money and fiat. But when bitcoin community grow bigger and acceptable in most payment, maybe bitcoin wallet is the best option for me.

I think banks are built for the profit of the bank owners, not for us. After all, banks have to obey government regulation ( this is not a good news for bitcoin holders )

For me, BTC wallet would be way easier.
