I prefer both. My bank earns me considerable amount of interest on my savings and term deposits so I prefer it as a more non-volatile investment. Apart from which, I also like to store some amount of Bitcoins that I can afford to lose in my Bitcoin wallet.

I plan to order btc card and then im in full
btc wallet is more reliable than banks, because they don't charge taxes or interests, in btc wallet you are always in control plus you have the option to cash out any time no matter how good or bad the market maybe. Yes now Bitcoin wallet is nothing but my bank account. There are no glitch in bitcoin wallet compared to any of my bank account. There are always problems in my bank account like so many penalties for not maintaining minimum balance kind of things. |

The bitcoins can be stored in a wallet and can be accessed after many years even though your account is not much active. In bank they have certain restrictions. |

There are many bitcoin wallets that are better than bank, but in generally why not using both of them (but more bitcoin ) Bitcoin wallets are highly secured compared to some banking wallet. The bitcoins can be stored in a wallet and can be accessed after many years even though your account is not much active. In bank they have certain restrictions. There are some bitcoin wallets that are not secure (they do not give you the private keys) like coinbase xapo and other similar third parties, but paper wallet, hardware wallets have more security and in some cases better than banks. |

Bitcoin wallet is better than Bank, firstly you have your own bank, no need to filled out your identity, very simple, low cost, and of course no one can't froze your money, as long as you keep your own private key your bitcoin will be safe

do you rely on the interest from banks for investment? I think it's too small to get from it, are you sure you only get 1% per year of your money? |

i would choose both because both of then have difference bitcoin is risky we dont know what will happen in the future maybe it will drop or jump the price but the bank is always there not so risky for people.

You see bitcoin's price dropped 20% in one day. How volatile it is? This is the reason scaring ppl away from it. But I am still having faith in it. I will continue to hold some amount of bitcoin. |

A majority of the reason as to why Bitcoin is so volatile is because some of the speculator and investor confidence is being manipulated, which is the primary reason as to why the price is volatile. The investors get antsy, and thus is causes a surge of people wanting to sell before their assets become worthless. People get scared because of a lack of people being able to remain steadfast, and sell because they are easily swayed. It will require more confidence before we actually see a movement towards stability and the wider acceptance. |

But I'm still using both. |

yeah decentralization make bitcoin wallet is superior compared with the bank, but I think it's better to use both, for the needs of transactions in the real life and online transactions People are attracted towards bitcoin because of decentralized factor attached with it, and yes bitcoin wallet is better then bank as you have control over your money, which no bank offers you, but for some reasons banks are also important and you cannot get rid of banks so easily as you have invested your fiat currency into it so I believe both are important. |

I have more value in BTC than I have in my bank account. But I do most purchases from my bank account.
I use bank for checking and the bitcoin blockchain the same way I used a bank savings account before I started using bitcoin.
For actual investing, I admit I do not have as much as someone my age should, but that's largely due to my income level. Only middle class income and higher can really afford to invest. I do have a little, that's in mutual funds.
I do not see bitcoin as investment though if it continue to grow like it has last few years I will be quite happy, but I use it for savings, not investment.
It is necessary to have a bank account because things like taxes etc. need to be government fiat currency.
