Bank and bitcoin wallet is different mate. Both o it plays a different roles. Without the bank where fiat is being regulated, the bitcoin will not have any value, mainly because it is still not the main currency that people uses. So I'd say both.  Are you thinking without value only bitcoin was get adapted by Dell, amazon and other business people. bitcoin have its more value than fiat according to me. it will gonna change a mile stone price in world market soon. Yep I already see many many youtube videos about BTC, and it will spread exponentially there. The more industries it gets too , the more video makers, and 1 video can reach thousands of people. There are already many thousand videos about bitcoin, and it grows, because 1 youtuber inspires another and they will make video too. This way bitcoin will have 100 million users, pretty soon, and then it will be very solid! It will replace online banking for sure. |

I've found the best of both worlds using Cashila.com. Works similar as Paypal, but can be funded with bitcoin!  From there I can pay to nearly any merchant or pay bills. Also anyone can send me funds in bitcoin or by simple wire transfer. If anyone's interested: https://www.cashila.com/ |

I would say Bitcoins they don't try to get much profit of me as banks. But I trust my Bank more because its been around longer.

I prefer a bitcoin bank where it will earn bigger than the usual FIAT but can be used as online currency faster than the typical paypal. Cashila.com is a good example for Euro and I can say the same with coins.ph that we're using in the Philippines.

I would choose for the bitcoin wallet, you can control it yourself.
Its also that I think my wallet is more secured and easy to access.
Sometimes I do not trust the bank.

I'm sure that for me that having my money in a bank is safer than having it all invested in bitcoins , even if the future of bitcoins looks brights they are still somewhat " younger " and they still need some serious regulation.  |

Bitcoin Wallet all along!
Last week my bank account was frauded, 500 dollars were stolen, and the bank gave me a hard time to give back my money. With a bitcoin wallet I would not depend on anyone to store my values.
What a poor bank you have there. Sorry for your loss but at least there is a statement why it's stolen and that is will be showed to you. So what your stand? That will mislead to those other users here because of lack on information stated by you. |

In fact the bank as bitcoins can hardly be spent in local shops and with a bank we have access to use atm machines and pay in any shops. With bitcoins the only people accept them are the ones who believe in it. Happilly the number of such people is rising  |

Bitcoin wallets of course, some of the people in this forum came to BTC looking for a decentralized finance and therefore making it centralized does not sound reasonable and take away one of the advantages of BTC.

That is the good thing here; to have many options because in most cases, bitcoin and bank are not truly much used in every country. And bitcoin are not there to erase the banking industry. |

I think its not completely fine to compare bitcoins with banks. I think banks give you safety while still I think bitcoin has all the features of banking system plus anonymous...So, I will choose bitcoin wallet.

wallets is better than the current bank system IMO, if banks however change to a more general, open and transparent way and offered BTC profit on invested BTC then I wouldn't mind using them.

i have the same feeling about keeping all my money at a bank. although it is safe but i don't like keeping all my eggs in one basket. |

I think banks and bitcoins can never be viewed with the same frame of reference because bitcoins are anonymous while with banks all legal issues are there. |

I do not prefer banks, because with banks I cannot keep money for which i dont want to pay tax. But with bitcoins I can keep my funds secured and can use them anytime. I would love a generation with depositing bitcoins to bank.

Yes bitcoins are much safer and rather easier to use than getting to bank, filling cheques and then getting the cash. I think just the interest we get from bank maybe the only positive side in choosing banks |
