Jommy99: We know you are busy trying to resurrect PND from the ashes. And, you've given us links to check the ongoing process. But, lots of that doesn't mean much to me. And some are no longer active, or are closed down. I've just been to the PND site, too. Any updates are always truly welcome. You are my go-to person for this coin because of your trustworthiness and straight-forward approach over the years I've owned PND and known you. And, you continue to be hopeful as ever. I don't know how you do it, man. I was just thinkin', we could all use some a' that about now. Thank you.

Are you using windows? If so when you ran PandaBank for the first time using windows, did windows ask if it is ok to allow network access to PandaBank? You need to allow access, and you may need to wait some time to see connections. If you have trouble in Hybrid mode you can switch to classic mode and try to connect that way. Pandacoin.conf is a text file that can contain several things but a simple one can be just addnode lines like the example below, addnodes can be found https://chainz.cryptoid.info/pnd/#!network by clicking node list. Your Pandacoin data folder containing your wallet.dat is where to put it. You can also use a command line argument when starting PandaBank like -addnode=144.76.80.131 Be sure your PC's clock is set correctly and you have Internet connectivity. addnode=144.76.80.131 addnode=182.48.148.248 addnode=188.2.120.35 addnode=5.189.144.97 addnode=65.25.61.152 addnode=73.229.116.157 addnode=92.108.110.190 addnode=107.3.236.173 addnode=135.23.161.75 addnode=204.246.68.172 addnode=217.115.116.204 addnode=46.41.67.117 addnode=50.184.253.107 addnode=52.76.154.206 addnode=68.168.181.218 addnode=68.234.78.68 addnode=70.50.99.91 addnode=76.68.183.51 addnode=81.51.29.200 addnode=85.25.133.20 addnode=88.159.208.122 addnode=192.169.6.147 addnode=46.105.55.204 addnode=69.176.242.196 addnode=73.149.211.162 addnode=94.23.252.34 Do you use irc? To be safe rename your Pandacoin data folder to PandaDatasav, then restart PandaBank and it will recreate a new Pandacoin data folder. switch to classic mode then exit. Copy your pandacoin.conf to this new Pandacoin data folder that will have a new wallet.dat etc. You may want to also download a Bootstrap.dat to the same data folder, you can get it here https://bchain.info/PND/bootstrap.dat The bootstrap will save a good deal of time synching, but you will need to have your PandaBank connectivity resolved for success. I am going to need to know all the details of what you are or have tried to better understand your situation to help you better. Perhaps I can help you to get connected to irc? You should be able to connect using your browser http://webchat.freenode.net/?nick=panda.&channels=%23PandacoinPND

Sorry to have left you unresolved; really thought you had it solved. I have never heard of a new PandaBank install having trouble, so that was my advice by renaming your Pandacoin data folder then starting PandaBank it would be like a new install. Your link to the download seems fine, but you may want to try our older Pandacoin qt wallet https://github.com/pandacoin-official/pandacoin/releases/tag/v2.1.2It is a more traditional wallet like Bitcoins, and will work with your backed up wallet.dat and our network fine. Always be sure you have your wallet.dat backed up and preferably kept safe off your main hard drive for safety! Your Pandacoin data folder is something like C:\Users\John\AppData\Roaming\Pandacoin on windows, you can open windows file explorer and type in %appdata% to see your various data folders, if you did not rename it yet Pandacoin should be listed. Let me step you through again but asking more questions. Did you find your Pandacoin data folder and rename it? Do you have your wallet.dat file safe also somewhere else as an extra backup? Do you have a Pandacoin.conf file with valid addnodes? What happens when you then run PandaBank, it should create a new Pandacoin datafolder and brand new wallet.dat (no balance). If you are using the new PandaBank, you should probably switch from hybrid to classic mode since you are having trouble. You can speed this process up a couple of ways, you can download https://bchain.info/PND/bootstrap.dat and place it into your Pandacoin data folder or you can use Kiklo's Premium Bootstrap.dat & Blockchain Snapshot Service for Proof of Stake Coins. See https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1378653.0If it does not connect at first it is fine just exit and copy your Pandacoin.conf to the new Pandacoin data folder, you can also copy your backed up wallet.dat to this new Pandacoin data folder over writing the newly created no balance one then restart. If you are having trouble, please let me know in as much detail as you can what you have tried and what happened so I can better help.

I sync my wallet every so often. Like weeks to months apart. She synced up beautifully today. I keep the wallet locked until it's all caught up. THEN, I unlock my wallet, open up the floodgates, and every stake worked, no question marks. They come fast and furious for a long time. What a beautiful thing even if we aren't going very far. Ya just gotta look at "someday maybe."

updating suggested POS coins by TALK community https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=864994.msg13983872#msg13983872PND is on the new list as it was on the old list. We like your coin! Would be nice to have a formal PND rep stop by the TALK ever so often to keep us up-to-date Thus we will require ASAP a person of knowledge and standing to provide formal nomination and periodic communication in order to remain listed. ps ... like PND really do ... wanna try OTC for some TALK?
