For 1 Bitcoin to be worth $1,000,000, the total market cap of Bitcoin would have to be $21 trillion dollars. What are the odds of this happening?
For reference, the amount of physical $dollars and coins in circulation are around $1.2 trillion. The global M2 money supply of all currencies are around $45 trillion. The market cap of all mined gold is around $7 trillion.
Will 1 Bitcoin be worth a million dollars? Half a million? Thoughts?
Wooah that's surpricing that 1 bitcoin will be worth $1,000,000 dollar in market then more miner are going to celebrate because they going to be rich that fast even they have 20bitcoin a day hoping that i have so much bitcoin before this happen so that i can rich too hoping too that i am going to be rich because of bitcoin

It would really be something if this was possible and true but I do not believe that this is ever going to happen. I do no want to get my hopes up for something that is almost impossible. I rather focus on what can really happen with the value of the Bitcoin.

No way that's happening. Even half a million is out of the question. The whole global financial structure would have to be running on Bitcoin for those kind of prices. Even parity with gold seems to me impossible.
I can envision parity with gold happening in my lifetime. A million dollars? Not a chance unless, as you said, things start to massively fall apart. Come to think of it, that could definitely happen. The US is printing dollars so fast, the printing presses are breaking down. China is starting to become a superpower, and the middle east...is much the same as it's been for centuries. Hope we go to $2000 at least before I kick the bucket.

If the original Backside walkaround can prove to me they are the old owner of this account, I can update the email address to the email address of their choosing. Backside walkaround has lost access to their account as they used someone else's email address to sign up, and the owner of the email address got tired of random email notifications from this site after a few months and reset the password.

If we could figured out the reason why and how bitcoin price reach $400+ from $0,than we can find out the way how to make it $10,000.I think mass adoption can lead to high prices
I do not believe that the 1 million dollar Bitcoin exist and if you think that this is going to happen then you are getting your hopes up for nothing. The value of the Bitcoin is not even in the thousands and people are hoping for a million.

We never know the future but to be realistic it would not happen, but who knows if the future gone crazy and people will be supporting the use of bitcoin instead of fiat, anything could happen but for now it is just a fantasy.

I still do not believe that there is a $1 Dollar Bitcoin because if it would exist to many people in today´s world would become millionaires. I have to stay realistic because if not I would get my hopes up for nothing.

If you want the government to ever be open to the idea of having BTC be a recognized currency, you have t wait for them to collapse their own currencies through economic mistakes and crashes throughout the markets and everything, and get the people, the individuals, to no longer trust their government's issued currencies and get them to demand something more. Nothing will change until the people want change, and if governments keep them paid and fed with universal basic incomes and welfare and so, they will never ask for more and they will opt to just exist I don't know about 1M dollar Bitcoin, but isn't that exactly what they are doing right now? That is, governments deliberately destroying their own currencies through competitive devaluations in an effort to gain an advantage over other governments and, allegedly, nations (as they think) while Bitcoin is gradually gaining in price and value. In this way, it can just sit and wait patiently... Until the poop plops down, so to speak

One million dollars for one bitcoin is realistic if you consider the future demand of bitcoin with respect to its adoption rate. The supply and demand can do any miracle for any commodity, and we are having bitcoin to have limited supply in near future, then expecting higher price is one of practical approach.

There are many supporting factors that emphasise bitcoin's higher price possibilities. Still, expecting such a huge price in short-term is impractical. If you are expecting $ 1 million after a decade or for your next generations then it is highly realistic. Yes, bitcoin will get $ 1 million levels but not sure when it will be.

I don't think that will happen for decades. The US dollar would have to experience a lot of inflation and bitcoin will need to be more established.

It will happen, but not because the Bitcoin would be very valuable, but because the USD would be hyper inflated to the point where it's worth jack shit :/

This question was about if bitcoin will be disgustingly expensive in the future. Use of USD there was pure example to illustrateone of the top currencies we have today. You can replace USD with any FIAT like EURO, GBP, CHF in that question and it will still be valid.

It can barely rich $1000, and you're dreaming of reaching $1 million? It is impossible. Even after a long time. I don't think it will even reach $100,000.
Indeed it is impossible to reach the million but 1k it will reach easily. It takes time and will get there and when more people tend to use it it will grow bigger and can potentially reach 2k but this takes alot of time so we just have to wait and see.

Big mathematics but its can be possible and can conducted also. As Bitcoin is made up of 100000000 Satoshi. And its predicted that in future till 2145 transaction will be made in just satoshi. Now think this part is imaginary but if take it seriously what will distribution of bitcoin globally.
