there isnt really a definite answer for that. it depends on the person. Each person is different.Everyone would have their own limitations. one of the main reasons would be that most of our senior population have no idea of as to what Bitcoin is.

however, this doesnt mean that i dont support everyone using bitcoin. i do recommend bitcoin now in our modern world. Now at least. Smiley Smiley Smiley
No, it do not depends on people but it depends on spreading the news and knowledge about, the more we spread the knowledge about it the more will people trust on it and will support it, if some do not have got enough knowledge about it then he will not rely on it.

Well people do not trust the bitcoin because of the media.
The media says the bitcoin is bad because it used by many criminals.
I'll say. that bitcoin users. who have lived here a long time. already familiar with it. many media who have done stupid things like proclaiming that bitcoin currency is illegal, but it will not make us stop

1st reason, because it is hard to understand how it work and what is it, second reason, because it is a bit expensive and there are not many real places to spend it, unless you are in a very developed country or city.

That is true... knowledge about bitcoin, its use and of course, the very high price today is what I think too could hinder people to use bitcoin..  Smiley

First of all, this coin is not so much famous on international level. Mostly people don't know about this currency. And its price which is going down, also a cause of stopping people from using Bitcoin.

The price fluctuation is not important for the general bitcoin users but is affecting the miners to very large extent and the traders are just utilizing it and will always do.IMO the not very easy to use algorithm of bitcoin or the more amount knowledge required to use than fiat is somewhat a drawback.

sometimes even in a family only one knows about it..  Smiley
It doesn't matters if your or mine family members start using it cause they don't add anything significant to it like stocks ,institutional funds or tech companies could do.

Imagine you need to pay someone say $2000 that painted your house or performed another service.

And you wanted to pay them in BTC

And they heard of BTC and have no problem with the concept but never used it before

When you realize what you have to do - the explaining, the convincing, the handhold, how much time it takes you get them onboard and how much time it takes them to go through the process and have it converted to fiat in there hands...  Lips sealed

I believe rumors always affect bitcoin value that happen last month when some exchange weren't processing something i don't remember the problem and price went from 300 to 180 dollars in a flash moments, then to recover hell it took sometime, soo say that is impossible bitcoin being worth 0 dollars is insane,if a problem ,that bitcoin should have one,and someone may find it,it can easy kill the altcoins, but i doubt can happen otherwise crypto world would die with bitcoin i doubt others altcoins can survive without the father or the king.People connect bitcoin as some scam attempt or black market currency.

Many here keep denying that it's difficult to use. That's a fact but what it's worse is that there's actually no problem to solve. Bitcoin doesn't do anything better than Paypal or CCs. Common people don't need Bitcoin in their lives unless they want to invest long term. People here mentioning Paypal is refundable as if was a disadvantage? you think that's a con for common folks?  Do you think my mother wants to use Bitcoin (which is non-refundable) so the minute she makes a mistake she will lose all her money? Really? Because she will make that mistake sooner or later I guarantee you, there are decimals, authorization keys, brain wallets, address as long as long as line of code, qr codes, and you think being non-refundable is a plus? I think Bitcoin is a unique technology don't get me wrong but is in its infancy just as the internet was in the early 90s, it's still just for curious and tech savvy people. In this case it also attracts investors and traders.

i believe really that this all news against bitcoin is from competitors ,trying to stop bitcoin adoption that will happen soon or later, its too late to kill bitcoin. anything can be connected to the black market and since the beginning of time people did illegal things. If not money then salt, gold, feathers, whatever. Now bitcoins. The medium is not the problem. But I understand - bitcoin is powerful and the banking system is afraid of that. It's just like the oil industry trying everything to stop alternative fuel, because they would lose money.

Don't forget that for common people handling decimals, authorization keys, wallets, addresses as long as line of code and many other "easy to use" features are completely out of their league. We may be comfortable with them because we are a bunch of nerds but Bitcoin has a long way before it's being considered as a hassle free method compared to Paypal, CCs, etc. I would say that is the biggest problem. For the majority who are new this whole tech thing. Bitcoin usage is beyond them. Using it is tricky enough, understanding it is another level. Without understanding, there is little trust.

it's too volatile, there is no real market, only for nerds and libertarians. Just a niche
