Orange is way better then gold.
Orange gives it a look that a virtual currency should have whereas gold will make it more close to THE REAL GOLD  Tongue

Well known of you are fashion designers or psychologists.

I'm not trying to be rude with that statement. I'm just being honest. I did not go to school for Fashion design, but I took up plenty of internships so I think that counts.

Look forward to seeing more or your work. You may even be able to sell some of your designs if they look good. Have a great day.

Well i think that the bitcoin color is flat in general.
But you can see some imitation and see sometime in google as a gold color.
The orange color it's good and brings attention to users when they visit a website.

Yes orange colour has more attraction than any other colour by nature. But my personal opinion is colour is less criteria for the success of bitcoin, only popularity is the most ever needed things to make bitcoin more successful.

Unlike how Japanese media falsely portrays bitcoin, there is no "Bitcoin CEO" or board of directors to petition or form consensus around. There is no official bitcoin logo color and many examples exists in many colors. Design a neat product or logo and we will use it or pay for it if it looks good. Just because someone prefers orange over gold doesn't mean they won't also like gold as well in addition to orange.

Many designs can and will coexist simultaneously. I understand that can lead to branding confusion which isn't a good thing but we have no choice with this as bitcoin represents a permission less decentralized project.

Carry on with your design and don't get discouraged that people have different aesthetic tastes.

8 straight pages of absolute closed-mindedness. You guys don't even want to think about it. "It was made orange, and that's how it'll stay". Great. I get that you all love Satoshi, and you don't want his design getting lost in the mist. The reality is that colors absolutely matter. They provoke subconscious feelings from the person that views it.

Again, not trying to be rude, but....you guys don't know what you're talking about at all. You all work in computer engineering and not psychology or fashion....

Honestly, when I accidentally bumped into this website, there was a reason behind it. It was to help propell Bitcoin to better heights. Well, I guess this topic can end now, because talking to technological people about fashion or psychology is like talking to somebody in a different language.
