my friend has some problems. for me the transition went without any hickups but my friends wallet really has some problems.
we did the transition and than we used a new seed. now for 30 minutes the balance shows 0 and 20 GI are pending .
should we re-tangle it and rebroadcast? or just wait?
in my case that balance was there after a 2 minutes.
don't worry, I had the same "issue" and had to replay the transaction several times before seeing the balance. It took me 7 Reply tries over 1 day and 15 hours but it just confirmed. it was a bit stressful because it's a few coin, but I get how frustrating it is having it say zero. And now how good it feels to finally have the correct balance in my wallet. |

If a transaction is pending after a transition, it is a good sign. As the IOTA website says, the transition may take minutes, hours, or unlikely a day. The balance will get back to normal once the transaction is confirmed. |

Anyone had a resolution to the Child_Harold problem. I have tried various methods to get an update of some kind but cannot seem to get a response. If anyone has some news, would appreciate an update. Thanks.
This problem has low priority, not this month for sure. Thanks for the update. Hi, Just looking for a quick update on this if possible. I know you guys must be busy. Do you think this would be resolved this month or maybe next month? |

unfortunately this guide, as many other ones, doesn't explain anything if the seed was too long I'm still waiting for a damned IOTA dev reply to this thread, maybe after 1 year or 2 I will find somebody helping me to recover my IOTA lost-in-sleeping balance You would know only if you have read the guide properly and did your due diligence. Refer to Point no. 4, they have details of issues faced and resolution for same. Point 4 Sub Item 1 should have answer to your problem. maybe you don't know that the solution of "If your old seed was longer than 81 characters, only type in the first 81 characters to this text box" SIMPLY DOESN'T WORK..YOU CAN GENERATE THOUSANDS OF ADDRESSES AND THE BALANCE IS STILL ZERO but you are so able to speak about "properly" and "diligence" |

I unfortunately still don't understand how to use this token, coin, or what ever it is called. I see no use for it since it's not even traded on other places. So to think that this system can be easily adapted too seems a bit false to me.
