Iota is an unproven concept they can't get off the ground.
Lisk is the dream blockchain for Javascript Devs -
Lisk will be the 'Apple Store' of the blockchain, not to mention the token is faster, more scalable and secure than Bitcoin or Ethereum.

IOTA is a pipe dream pump and dump.

Sorry mate but I think that IOTA will be huge in the future. We just need to wait 2 years and you will see that IOTA will be great. IOTA and LISK are two different systems. LISK is for Javascript(node.js) and IOTA for IOT devices. In the near future more and more IOT devices will be available on the market and in our houses. So IOTA will be huge in the future. Now its the perfect time to buy in into IOTA. Also LISK has great opportunity.

But now I have more money into LISK in than in IOTA because LISK will break out in the next weeks or days. After this breakout I will put my winnings into IOTA Smiley

But IOTA is already big enough. Look at its market cap.
Figures look crazy, like with other crypto projects. Billion of capitalization, it's just insanity...

When Ether reached to $2 biilions in marketcap 4 months ago, I thought the same. But it got to $31 billions today in such a short period of time.

just make a simple comparison: current TPS LISK vs IOTA. Got it? Who is using Lisk?
Also Lisk is a BLOCKCHAIN with fees etc. Not an IOTA competitor

Linkedin was sold for 26 billion and it is just a simple website.
IOTA could be the future network for IOT apps and micro payments and is valued less than 10% of Linkedin.

HAH, I like that thinking, and is a better apples:oranges comparison than Lisk to IOTA too.  Those lisk comments are really from left field related to this project, might as well compare IOTA and Ark or IOTA and Amazon.

You have to look at each crypto project in context.  Just because you prefer betting on a different horse doesn't mean you go to the dog track to complain about everyone's bets on a greyhound.

Yesterday I tried to transfer some IOTA from Bitfinex to my IOTA wallet (2.4.0).  The transaction showed "confirmed" in my wallet but with an amount of zero.  I attached to tangle again and same thing happened.  I then changed to a different node (http://iota.bitfinex.com:80).  Again I attached to tangle and it still shows "pending" 12 hours later.

Should I keep attaching new addresses to the tangle, keep changing nodes, or both.... ?

Any advice would be appreciated

If the tx is "completed" in bitfinex side, and you are seeing it "Pending" in your wallet, you have to reattach, no need to create new addresses, I understand that you already gave them an address you own. Reattach tx, normally is super fast fro me from Finex.

So who got shaken out of IOTA? Smiley About Lisk trolls, guys it's best to ignore them. How sad is it to come to another coin's thread to promote your own? Bag holders must be getting pretty desperate out there.

I was cautious about IOTA first but now I see all these fudsters and trolls coming from other coins and projects which seem less innovative or a bit inferior to me, bashing IOTA... I can say that I've seen this kind of behavior before and it's a good sign. But remember, don't base your decisions on what I say or what anyone else says. Learn about the projects and do a comparison, then decide which one holds a promise of innovation and prosperity  Smiley

Okay well I've since tried 3 more to reattachments and it seems to automatically generate a new address each time I do this.  How is one able to reattach without generating a new address?

Also, since I gave bitfinex a specific address to send my IOTA, it seems logical that generating new addresses and reattaching would not work.  Does the tangle system know how to find my IOTA at another address when I generate a new address and reattach?

Reattaching a pending transaction does not create a new address. It only re-do the transaction one more time with the same address. It comes out as a duplicated transaction in your history with the same address.

Maybe your are confused with TX hash??

Reattaching a pending transaction does not create a new address. It only re-do the transaction one more time with the same address. It comes out as a duplicated transaction in your history with the same address.
