I hope IOTA would hire a Wallet Developer instead of all those marketing guys. I understand marketing is important but we also want to see progress on the tech site. It is not that IOTA is not considered Alpha anymore with all these snapshots and wallet transitions. No moon without a stable and reliable network.
Same to me! Really want to see workable wallet! Hope it will come soon )) whats the prob with the current wallet. its working fine for me. I think people are complaining not because of the actual wallet but rather because of the confirmation time and how long it takes until a transaction was confirmed, rebroadcasted or reattached. They compare it with known blockchain based coins and have not gotten yet that this is a complete different approach and therefore the behaviour and the nature of the IOTA wallet is different. Of course, everything could go a little bit smoother but IOTA is still beta. So give them the time to improve and stabilize the wallet and network. |

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

The current wallet works, but some people can't get their coins because there was one transition that was particularly complicated. If you merely ignored your wallet for a couple of weeks at the wrong time, or didn't understand the urgency of that migration, you would now be unable to access your coins. This is a coin not ready for general use. We still have the coordinator running the show. It's really an alpha project for computer/crypto enthusiast who can navigate such complexities without getting tangled up in their own shoelaces, to coin a phrase. So, is there any way to get back to these coins, if I'm one of the people who missed this? Does the problem of unknown transactions and adresses I described 2 pages ago, come with this migration? We have to wait for the new wallet. Release should be during next week. I hope everything s fine with my coins, too. My transition was "pending" last week and now my coins are gone  |

hello, i have a problem, can anyone pls help me?
i had iota since the end of july, i have made the update with no problems, that was more than a mounth ago and today i entered my iota wallet and i have 0 balance. I had version 2.4 and today, after i saw zero balance i have installed version 2.5.1.1 and i have 0 balance and no transaction history. what is happening?
You need to create as many addresses as you had in your old wallet before to let your balance show up. thank you! |

I too had many instances of a "heart-attack" when I couldn't see my balance after a snapshot or migrating to a new wallet. So never loose your seed and you will be fine. |
