IOTA Ecosystem Development Fund Initiates Second Cohort of Projects.

Open-source development is one of the foundations of the IOTA Ecosystem. This concept has also led to an increasing number of projects developed on the IOTA blockchain network. Several of these projects are funded through charitable contributions from the IOTA community members, who participate in the Ecosystem Development Fund. The second cohort of fund grantees, who received a total of $354,000, was unveiled by the Foundation recently. Of these, Untangle Care received the highest funding, which is $234,000...

Andre Fialho, co-founder and CEO of Untangle Care, explained the project:

“Our goal with the Untangle Care project is to develop open source IOTA and HL7 FHIR based tools that help to share health information in a simpler, more secure and faster way. Ultimately, we envision a future where individuals have access and control over all health information needed to improve their own health.”

I doubt about the particular demand and feasibility of the Internet of things, not only that in such a coin, there is a hype, but there is no real use (

Did you download Trinity wallet? I have Trinity wallet running on Ubuntu without any problems. Just download the AppImage file provided on the download page and start it with double click. It may be that you need to make the AppImage file executable on your Ubuntu system.
Let me know what exactly your problem is and I'll help you.

Exactly the same three colors as on CFB-s avatar.

By the way, about the team. The project is expanding its structure. Over the past couple of months, IOTA has hired the best digital experts. So, in the first days of October Cara Harbor, Thibault Martinez and Daniela Faustino joined the team. Experts are called to work in the field of Human Resources, which includes issues settlement of hiring, compensation, mediation, exits, benefits and organizing various events and meetings. I believe that they will be an excellent complement and a new effective resource for the IOTA team and the blockchain project as a whole.

Configuration improvements in IRI 1.5.5

Today marks the release of IRI 1.5.5. The IOTA Reference Implementation (IRI) software is the backbone of the IOTA network. An evolving piece of software that is incrementally moving towards the implementation outlined in the IOTA white paper.

A Proposal for Reusable Addresses [Part 3]

Hans Moog will now explain why IOTA was not designed like this in the first place, and why the proposed solution cannot fully replace the way transactions are handled right now.

The idea is modern and very elegant, but how much I observe such ideas in life is very hard to reproduce.<br>Cryptocurrency is jumping up and down ... In such a market, selling items for a cryptocurrency is so unreal to me, I would not have taken it!

To be honest, this forum is not the best way to get such information. More promising is the IOTA Discord Channel, where a lot of specialists and experts are available to help you with your IOTA needs.

https://discordapp.com/invite/fNGZXvh (I'm not Dave from the invitation link, I just reposted it from another thread).

I am planning to set up a IOTA node. When a look for a tutorial I found this one https://www.coinbureau.com/mining/iota-full-node/

It says the minimum recommended hardware / software for the VPS is
- 8 to 12GB RAM
- 25GB storage
- dual core CPU

Is it really true? It seems too high for me or are there different kinds of nodes (e.g. light and full nodes)?
