By the way, about the team. The project is expanding its structure. Over the past couple of months, IOTA has hired the best digital experts. So, in the first days of October Cara Harbor, Thibault Martinez and Daniela Faustino joined the team. Experts are called to work in the field of Human Resources, which includes issues settlement of hiring, compensation, mediation, exits, benefits and organizing various events and meetings. I believe that they will be an excellent complement and a new effective resource for the IOTA team and the blockchain project as a whole.

Configuration improvements in IRI 1.5.5

Today marks the release of IRI 1.5.5. The IOTA Reference Implementation (IRI) software is the backbone of the IOTA network. An evolving piece of software that is incrementally moving towards the implementation outlined in the IOTA white paper.

A Proposal for Reusable Addresses [Part 3]

Hans Moog will now explain why IOTA was not designed like this in the first place, and why the proposed solution cannot fully replace the way transactions are handled right now.

The idea is modern and very elegant, but how much I observe such ideas in life is very hard to reproduce.<br>Cryptocurrency is jumping up and down ... In such a market, selling items for a cryptocurrency is so unreal to me, I would not have taken it!

To be honest, this forum is not the best way to get such information. More promising is the IOTA Discord Channel, where a lot of specialists and experts are available to help you with your IOTA needs.

I am planning to set up a IOTA node. When a look for a tutorial I found this one https://www.coinbureau.com/mining/iota-full-node/

It says the minimum recommended hardware / software for the VPS is
- 8 to 12GB RAM
- 25GB storage
- dual core CPU

Is it really true? It seems too high for me or are there different kinds of nodes (e.g. light and full nodes)?

Did you guys ever get the wallet straight?

If not, check out the ZelCore wallet. See if you can get IOTA added to ZelCore. They also have an exchange coming called ZelEx. It would be nice to trade IOTA there. https://twitter.com/Zel_Core/status/1053708803311628288

I'm not sure if IOTA can be added to the zelcore wallet because it has no blockchain, it uses "directed acyclic graph" instead.

That's really a good offer. Did you try this service already and do you know how good the performance is? I have been to Digitalocean and Vultr and I paid $5 a month for only 1 core, 20 GB SSD and 1 GB RAM.

DAG make IOTA difficult to het listed on major exchanges. These days erc 20 is the standard tokens that get liated quickly.

I don't think there is any difficulty for any DAG based coin to get listed on any exchange. We can look at the available exchanges for IOTA and almost all top exchanges are where it is being traded. Instead of other non issue my main focus is on keep adding more coins little by little at these prices as this is second chance for those who completely missed or underestimated it at first time.

IOTA team is currently working on a module (I think it is called IXI module or so) which let exchanges integrate IOTA very easy. Today exchanges have to create a own procedure to implement IOTA. The new module will make sure that such an implementation is not necessary anymore. By then at least, most exchanges will integrate IOTA.
