Clearly it's a good thing. It's going to happen either way every 4 years so get used to it. Satoshi didn't just pull this out of nowhere, it was thought through meticulously. If you slowly keep cutting the reward in half, the Bitcoins will have more value over time. Eventually there will be no more Bitcoins generated and that may be when they're very stable in price.

The chance is high that the value is going to rise slowly and that is because the value is not even that high because it kept stable for a long time and that is quite bad.
But many people are also saying that the value will be not even that high in the future because it will rise next year are they saying.
Why is it bad that the price was stable for a certain period? I think it's actually better as the average joe people like stability instead of the price going down heavily very often. If something is going to convince them to use Bitcoin then it surely will be the stability aspect. |

The halving is gonna be good in my opinion because the fact is that its gonna let the price rise and we can make a lot of money because of that if we of course sell it on the right time this year.

Yeah lets hope that halving will have positive impact on the price of bitcoin and if price doesn't go high at halving then bitcoin will loose the trust from the people. |

As you can see theres a small changes happening on bitcoin last month, from 420 it climbed up upto 470 because of the halving that is coming. All bitcoin earners and holders will benefit on this event.

The fact that the price is very stable now is a very visible effect of it. Although people got speculation that it could rise more when nearing the halving, there is no use of it if the price will just be dumped right after it got up as high as it can goes |

But even a small increase of the price you can still profit, I still think that there will an increase of price due to this halving fever. Base on my observation once there is a positive hype there will be a substantial price increase. |

Even without any halving, the sell pressure will be coming. There are alot of people that has bought bitcoin at this current price but it seems there is no sign that the price will increase anymore at this point therefore those who bought will be selling it sooner or later. It is not a trader's interest to keep on holding when he can use the funds to make the other trade |
