Congratulations to Dirk Nowitzki of over 30,000 points scored in the NBA, Is the sixth player in history to achieve this. Next year to achieve this goal will Lebron James who currently is at 28,316 points.
Despite a great westbrook who scored 58 points, oklahoma continues its negative trend with the fourth consecutive defeat, and the next match will be against San Antonio!
I think teams are slowly figuring out that the best way to beat the OKC Thunder is to just let Russell Westbrook stuff the stat sheet as long as they contain all the other players not named Westbrook. The Blazers played a great team game with seven of its players scoring in double digits. Lucky are the Thunder that the battle for the 8th spot is still up for grabs by the losing teams, so to speak.

Dirk may very well be the best foreign national to ever play on the nba. Im happy for the guy and all his accomplishments all with the dallas mavericks. And i agree. Eventually westbrook will get tired and all he's doing will take a toll on his body. They may make it to the first round but i don't think they'd go beyond it. Russ is doing too much by his own and everyone knows that that doesn't in a basketball game. He desperately needs to have his teammates step up.

Dirk is a very entertaining player and he is very humble, he gave way to other stars to be part of the team by sacrificing his salary, championship really means to him a lot and with this current line up, I can say that they are a championship caliber already. He remains loyal to Dallas despite of the rumors about his transfer to other team that is why in return he got loyal fans as well. He already proven that he is one of the elite players in NBA by winning championship which Durant and Westbrook haven't made yet.

Quite happy here as a long time fan of Dallas Mavericks that Dirk Nowitzki makes again another record for his career. It's a great achievement that he can show to his successors. Hope that he played for the next couple of season before retiring as I can't see Dallas Mavericks without Nowitzki on the floor. Next year to achieve this goal will Lebron James who currently is at 28,316 points.
Chances are really high for about 95% that Lebron James will joined the 30,000 points party next season. They still have lots of remaining games before the playoffs and surely he can minimized the points required next year to achived that 30,000. For an average of 20+ points that needed next season, he can lowered it to 15+ points average if he will able to play at all games. But even if not, LBJ is not the type of player that have a low average points so definitely missed games can be covered.

Also that he is so related to the Mavs franchise and Dallas makes it even better, it's nice to recognize these type of players that devote themselves to one team and are basically the image of it. Like Jordan and most recently Kobe, while Lebron played in Miami it certainly represents Cleveland much more. Speaking of him, getting 30k points will be an afterthought, I would say he even have a shot for 40k if he doesn't have any injuries in his upcoming years, the dude's a beast and will certainly average +20 points per game for the next 5 years at least, including deep runs in the playoffs.

He now has 28,316 points. between regular seasons and playoffs this season will play approximately another 35-40 games and then at the end of the season he will reach about 29,000 points. Next year will have about 100 games to reach 30,000 points. I think he will come in first place currently occupied by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar with 38,387 perhaps in 2022!

That's possible because obviously he is better than Dirk, it's unlikely that Lebron will be enjoyed because he is very strong and he matured now as a player. He knows when he needs to score and since it's still in regular season and they are secured already to get into the playoffs, he would rather be a facilitator and work the stats on his assist than score most of the time.

How come that Lebron James was compared to Dirk here, They are different in every aspect of game style and statistics. Lebron will reach 30k points but i'm not sure that he will beat Kareem Abdul-Jabbar record of 38,387points because they have different era and at era of kareem, He is a totally over power compared to Lebron era now, Considering that lebron james scores now is not high compared to its late season record on his last team

Celtics beating Golden state Warriors at Warriors home again. Good defense from the Celtics and Warriors bench has been abysmal today. Combining to just 15 points and the game is almost done. Warriors down by 13 with just over a min to go. To me it seems to be over. If Warriors dont make any changes and add strength to it, it looks like they wont win the championship this season.

Warriors lost, that's alright, they need Durant to win games especially against an elite team in the NBA. I'm not surprised with the win and honestly I almost cashout now with my parlay if not because of the lost of Detroit Pistons. By the way, I have ML for (UTAH, DET, and BOSTON). That was a great game indeed, Thomas is still the man and I like the way they play defense which resulted to a low scoring game.

They hardly let Curry touch the ball in the 4th qtr and when he did, always had to make a contested shot. Not enough players in GSW team to draw defenders other than Curry and Thompson and they where well guarded at all times. Celtics close in on the Cavs and Spurs get closer to Warriors for the top spot.

I think the spurs will lead the league, until such time Durant is back, the warriors will be having a hard time to dominate in the game. I wonder if how they feel with their bad losing record, they should be realizing now that they cannot get into the Finals without Durant playing with them. Boston is great and I'm thinking, what if they will become the NBA champion this season, I'm sure it will be a surprise for most people.

Why didn't I see it coming? I thought of going for Boston and then decided not to . I went big for GSW and they got defeated I knew it would happen in 3rd quarter itself . Great play by Boston though as they covered Curry very well which I think is the biggest reason why GSW lost.

GSW are better last year than this year, before even if one of their star player is not playing, they can still manage to win games. This time is played at the home court of the warriors which is hard to win due to the big support of the crowd in Oracle Arena but this Boston Celtics keep surprising us. Now, I have proven that rebuilding a team is effective, it takes the Boston many years before they came into this level.

The race for the top spot in the West is now heating up, as the Warriors have been vulnerable without Durant. Suddenly, the Spurs are turning up their game a notch and are closing in on the Warriors. I am actually rooting for the Spurs to go all the way to the Finals and for Kawhi Leonard to be the MVP. They have been doing it without much noise and fanfare and by just playing solid, no-nonsense basketball, as they have been doing over the last two decades.

Golden State will play 11 matches at home and only 7 away of which 2 against San Antonio. Probably the two Direct clashes on 12 and 30 March will be decisive. If Golden State will win at least one of these two games I think will win its conference.

The Timberwolves showed that there is still hope for them to make it into playoffs. With a 107-91 win against the Clippers you know they have a caliber to defeat a playoff team. Also for people thinking that Rose is better than Rubio think again he got a triple double recent and know with a double-double in this game with 12 Assist. The bench also have help a lot now with Lance Stephenson back with the organization.

I like how the Spurs played so far, Kawhi is getting more matured with the way he makes decision and that kind of leader is what a team needs to win championship. Honestly, I'm getting bored with a possible GSW vs CLE finals, I want Spurs to advance in the west and face whoever wins in the east.
