Steph has the potential to carry his teammates especially that Draymond green is still in the floor. Just like what he did on 2018 finals even though they didn't win but still curry show some firepower while klay and durant is off the court. I'm still not giving up on GSW but we can't deny the fact that they are not powerhouse team anymore considering that there is a lot of over power team on the west like Lakers, Clippers and Rockets.

The whole system needs to adjust as the old players are no longer there to fill up the spaces, this is a new team even Steph and Draymond still there

They have added new players but they aren't equivalent in skills and talent to KD and KT(which is just temporarily loss).

It's really a tough start for them but they are the Warriors, they need to prove that they don't only rely on Durant and now that Durant leaves they will turn into a shitty team. I am not yet convince that they will struggle all throughout, this is 2 games only, they will surely improve going to the playoffs season next year, at this point, even if they improve, they can't do it without Klay.

Well, now we can see that their style of plays doesn't work anymore. They need another superstar in their team to carry them and Curry cannot do it all for them. I think the warriors can't make it to the playoffs this season if they can't find ways to win more game like they used to.

I thought Clippers deserves to be in the top 1 because they've showed their potential already even without PG playing with them yet.
But I respect your personal opinion since no one of us here know the real standing by the end of this regular season and this off season is the most important so we can't really judge who will win based on what they showed early in this season.

Also, we also have consider some new additional players in the middle of the season, through acquisition or trade if possible, so that could also change the our expectation in the future.

They ranked 6th in sportsbook maybe because the name GSW still sounds like a championship team, and I have to agree with you that the Blazers are a more better team than the GSW and even the Rockets.
I'm thinking that the OKC blowout against GSW will be a message for Steve to be worry about the Warrior's condition this year.

I take Blazers or Wolves over the Rockets and Nuggets this season. My intuition is telling me that they're going to have a great season this year. Specially with KAT shooting 3's with efficiency.

It takes time for them to formed this new young guns to develop same concept as how this team become the top franchise for 5 years., 3 world titles and 2 division titles. Tough for all of them as  both coaches and new players needs to work as one to continue finding the right blend of players inside the court. Curry's leadership will be tested the whole season of this league while splash partner is side out due to it's injury.

I would completely agree with this comment if they were 0-3. They lost the opening game and won the next two. It appears that they've adjusted quicker than I expected.

Is it me or you also guys noticed Lebron declining? The king is old and it is showing lately. He is not that physical nowadays.

He knows he's not getting younger that's why he changed the way he plays. Not being too physical is not a basis of saying a player is declining though.



There's so much happening in the West teams that some achievements in the East are overshadowed.

D. Rose is looking like his old self while playing for Detroit. They're 1-2 currently but he's doing well.

You are not the only one noticing James changes his style play. He is going old, no question about that but at his age he is still playing good basketball in my opinion. Yes he is not physical, but I guess he evolved and he knows that he can't go physical and not suffer a injury just like what happened to him last season.

yeah but these are still the first two matches. there is still a chance in the next match. but if GSW doesn't change the strategy and only rely on Curry, I think the results will be the same in the next match. and let's hope that Thompson will recover from his injury soon and be able to play again for the Warriors
