Curry was amazing. I really thought he was going to lose that against Conley.
That last shot made me shiver.  

Last shot was the money shot, talking about pressure? Nah, Curry has it is the bag, he just make it more exciting as Conley was watching from the background and hoping that Curry will missed that last shots.

Dunk contest though is not that much fun. Maybe we are expecting too much from those high flyers and every trick had been repeated already.
Maybe next year something better will come up.

Pretty disappointed with the dunk contest as well. I'm sure there could be new tricks around, but the contestant this year wasn't creative enough.

Skills? Sabonis deserve that win after being a runner-up last year.

Curry had 28 points but he is not the runner up, Lillard is the runner up to Giannis with 32 points, both of them actually had 8/16 shooting that night.
However, if Curry did not participate the 3 point shooting, he might get more points here as his hands will be fresher and will not easily get tired. I love what the commentator said during the 3 point contest, he said, Curry shot is lock and loaded.

Yes he could, and the same goes for Lillard.
It's All-Star and they will try to avoid injuries as much as they could.
Both Curry and Lillard can shoot the ball way above the 3 point line and defense won't go that far.
If there is one thing I cannot forget, it was Jaylen Brown who made a 3 point shot fade away after a spin in the corner.

Guys, what did you think of this slam dunk contest?

Honestly it's better when it's shorter. One day event is better than whole weekend. Picking a winner instead of giving points in the final dunk looks better to me. There will still be controversy but it's better than point system.
Almost every dunk is made over the years and it's being repetitive now. We can't blame players because of physics laws, what more can you do anyway? J-Rich and Gordon set the bar so high.

Yeah right, Him and Lilard have that opportunities, but Giannis takes this one might be a personal quest and additional achievement

Now, something that I was disappointed was with the Slam Dunk Contest, it seems that every year the level is getting worse.

I think it stops with the Gordon and LaVine competition and from that onwards it gets kinda boring, hope they could get any flavors now for the dunk contest maybe by modifying it, well, the 3-point contest just been modified.

yea today slamdunk is so boring, actually, Lavine and Gordon are also a bit boring but good, then all are just less explosive dunks and unknown players there is no excitement on watching because you know they can't put much force to jam the ball, kinda disappoint why LeBron never join the slamdunk, I guess he will never participate, even though they are taunting him to join.

Well, I think the competition between Lavine x Gordon was one of the most exciting competition of all time, Gordon's dunks were very creative, I think he could have even won that slam dunk contest or maybe a draw between them.

About LeBron James, I think that if he participated in a slam dunk contest he could win, I don't know, although he is at an advanced age (he will be 37 this year), he has a lot of career ahead of him and even at 36 he can be considered one of the best NBA players today (in my opinion)

I just want the same 12 minute 4 quarters with pure west versus east, why do we have to have this weird things? In the end I didn't enjoy the skills challenge, I didn't enjoy dunk at all, dunk was the worst one in many years, and all-star game was boring aside from few highlights, only thing that was enjoyable was three point shot contest, I have to say that was a good one.

I think Steph and Giannis were the big winners from all star weekend. Giannis for his perfect fg% game and Steph for his long range bombs and winning the 3 point contest. I thought the dunk contest could have been more exciting but I liked the halftime format. Zion and LeBron both disappointed a little.

It was a sensational All-star weekend of for Steph indeed. For Giannis though, I doubt he wins MVP if it wasn't for his two banked three pointers. His statline are almost all dunk below the rim and I think Steph or Lillard could
have easily been MVP based on how they performed in the final quarter of the game.

The dunk contest is completely off and I wonder if it the cause was the lack of audience or just the dunk being so bad. Like they were times when I'm thinking "Is that it?". The dunk contest clearly need star power back.

Zion was kind of clumsy finishing on the rim and I'm kind of disappointed Lebron didn't come back and play a little bit in the 2nd half. I think the fact he picked a lot of playmaking guards completely made it so easy for the offense to flow for Team Lebron.

Well to be honest, damian lillards range is infinite.  Between him and steph those 2 guys can shoot from anywhere within the half court and if they aren't covered or contested its a good shot.  Dame's range is unlimited, dude is insane.  For pg to ever even call him out for taking a "bad shot" is rediculous.  PG takes plenty of awful shots fwiw

I don't know if Dame is three point skills is built for this kind of tournament. Yes, his range is unlimited, he can shoot anytime he wants, but I think those who wins this 3 point shoot out are more of a spot shooters. Dame is more of a under the pressure, player his confidence in 3 point shooting is built around when the game is on the line, not in a competition.
