Brooklyn Nets has just won today against Houston Rockets and James Harden has got a triple-double in his return to Houston with 29 PTS, 14 AST, 10 REB!

He made some record here, he is the 6th player who made a triple-double in the first game against their former team.

It has been an insane run for Nets. 10 out of last 11 games ended with a victory for them. Harden has been like literally a machine. He made another triple double this time against his former team and I've no doubt that he is enjoying his play.    Despite KD still has a muscle injury, Nets continue on their way superbly. I look forward to see them in playoff games.

Looks like Harden is the new main star of this team, just like Curry in the Warriors.

I'm happy that he finally found a team where he is happy playing and the team looks unbeatable.
While the defending champion is struggling due to injury, Nets is kinda showing how easy to win even if they miss Durant.

Can Harden won an MVP award with the consistency he is showing?

They are already playoff bound, and yes they have a insane run, Harden seems to have his second wind in his career in Nets uniform. And when everything is falling into pieces, he is really looking great. But I wanted to see him and the Nets backs against the wall in the playoff to see how are they going to response to pressure and not choke, specially Harden who has a history of playoff chokes.

They are both performing well, but the help coming from the other players are needed in order to move forward and win, without the supporting
cast this team will continue to struggle.
They needed to make everyone to participate, rotations and ball movements is very important not just two but all the five players inside the court
are in need to work and play together.
Look with how the Nets are doing, they've got Kyrie and Harden but aside from this two stars the rest are also contributing and they are doing it
so well so even without KD for a while they still stay at top.

I think this team is as good as any rockets team in the last 10 years except few years, and they have a shit ton of picks as well, albeit gave theirs away beforehand for Westbrook but they got so much more as well which is why I think it is definitely incredible.

This run by harden has been awesome.  I know he had a trip d last night but the most impressive thing to me is his efficiency.  29 points on 15 fg attempts.  He was known as a chucker in Houston but possibly what you were seeing is him doing what he needed to do on that team.  He looks way more comfortable on this team and looks like a league mvp playing out there.

Even though he is not a contender for the League MVP, he really is dishing out great performances even though it is his 2nd team for the season and they are currently doing a great run even though Durant is currently injured. Kyrie and Harden is playing selflessly because some of their plays before heavily rely on isolation but now we can see that they keep passing the ball around and every game they get this great stats with a win on their day.

What are you talking about? The Houston Rockets have a 13 game losing streak and it is the highest losing streak in the NBA season right now, they are currently sitting at the 14th spot in the Western Conference so I don't get why you think Houston Rockets is a good team right now. And it is getting clear by the day that Rockets might not even reach the playoffs this year even if they have John Wall and have pick up a gem in Christian Wood I don't see them getting some winning streaks that would be enough for them to reach the playoffs.

It is nice to see what he can do when he's healthy and in decent shape.  I think he's still not fully in professional athlete shape like he could be, but he's definitely well down the road to becoming that.  He's still a pretty young guy but when you watch him he moves like he's 10 years older.  If he ever matches his dedication off the court to his effort on the court, he will be a bad man.  I just hope it happens before he's too old to carry his team to a title.

Extending the regular game into overtime proves that both teams are great, though sixers snatched this one with that huge stats from their main man.

In other the game, Lilard's Blazers escaped from Curry's GSW with also an entertaining final minute ending, almost a win for GSW but Lilards long three take it from them,  that last offensive foul call is the who killed the bets of all GSW fans

You can really feel up the thrill when a certain game do reaches out overtime and with that Lilard's 3 point shot in last 14 seconds in the game in 4th did really put them on advantage

plus that foul call as you said was really the end point even though it misses 2x and gsw able to possess the ball but still it is already short in time.

Yes, if Joel will really put his mind and got into shape, he will be really one dominant big guy in the middle. Maybe not as close when Shaq what as his prime, but man to man, isolation play under, I don't think that someone can stop him.

But this season, he seems to be enjoying the best year of his career, maybe he is reaching his prime basketball years now.

I remember when I saw Sabonis, Adams and Kanter playing together in OKC in mid 2016/2017 (i guess), and several people said they would both have a promising future in the NBA ... yeah, how time flies!

Honestly I can't remember anymore that he played with OKC but I do remember Adams and Kanter playing on the same team.

All I know is that Sabonis started with the Pacers and slowly developed to become an all star.

Yes, he played for a while at OKC. But I think he had more contrast when he played for Pacers.
True, little by little he was improving his game and he is at the level he is today.

Schroder did not have his feet planted on the ground and was in motion, Curry threw himself against him (it was clear), and it was still a bad flop.
Nowadays it is normal for players to flop to win free throws. And some players even deserve to win the award for best actor lol

Actually, it's not about the possible flop but there's an extended elbow of Steph Curry that hits Schroder's face and that's why he is pissed off.

Flop is now a part of the NBA's today culture but since there's physical contact, it's a different story. It's an accident of course but Schroder got the foul.

Depending on the referee, he would have missed an attack, but it was not a flagrant foul

mostly if its just a small part or not too much contact star players mostly get away with it, this are some of the advantage of this players and also contacts with them are often called, even if its not that hard, on the other hand, if they eritates the refs they will get a lot of calls against them, I find these new refs so sensitive.

Yes, I agree with you, star players always have an advantage in fouls, traveling or things like that.
For example, LeBron James that he has been traveling several times and the referee did not punish him.

My friend  is a basketball referee, and he once said to me, "Everything that the referee doesn't see is allowed in basketball."

I wouldn't call them underrated though, each one of them have carry a team before, it's just that maybe the chemistry is there with the two, but the rest of the team are somewhat still finding the pieces on the puzzle. It was really a good game between Harden and his former team, but Harden exploded and we all know the results. It's going to be interesting that the Houston Rockets is on the process on rebuilding and we do hope that Wall and Oladipo will stay and try to prove themselves.

But, it's not about the players. It's about the contributions that will be given to the groups they represent.
Team Lebron - Thurgood Marshall College Fund
Team Durant - United Negro College Fund
